Aodhan's Past

Aodhan's Past

Didn't a cutscene from Aodhan's past play for female G3 players? How come it's not placed here?

AKAAkira23:32, 8 November 2011

I'd say Nexon disregarded the Females, as they always had done...

Infodude57523:36, 8 November 2011

Uh, sorry? Can you elaborate that further?

AKAAkira23:49, 8 November 2011

Aodhan's past is female-only, incase you didn't know.

I recall somewhere in G2, and possibility other Gens, they refer the player as "He" instead of a "She" or "It." Milletians aren't gender-fixed (or however you say it).

There's probably other places where females are disregarded, too...

Yeah, I did know that. I still don't see the connection.

What I'm asking is, isn't there a female player on this wiki who actually went through his memory experience quest thingy? Because the cutscenes for his past should exist. I'm just wondering why no one summarized it yet.

AKAAkira00:01, 9 November 2011

Ah, I must have misinterpreted that.
In any case, there's a little piece on the Mabinogi Storyline Recap... very little.

Then... Lexis can go over it if she wants...

Unfortunately 90% of the players don't care about the storyline, much less of the players are female, and much less are wiki editors.

... ITS STILL MISSING... WHY IS IT STILL MISSING?!

Infodude57521:46, 1 July 2012

Not sure why, but necroing a thread without contributing to it, and TYPING IN ALL CAPS, isn't going to make it magically appear...Time for you to make a female alt?

Yinato21:51, 1 July 2012

Hmm I coulda sworn I saw his past when i did Project RM on my alt...

If you saw it, then you should have put it in... D:

This thread was initially in 2011. RM was 2010 x.x;

It never once crossed my mind to add it in X-x

I just saw this wasn't in the wiki, and I'm currently on this quest as a female character. I'm going to go through the cut scene a few times if i can and get what I can from it. 17:09, 2 March 2013 (PST)

Oh please do...it's been missing for an awful long time. hopefully it's still there...

S•A•R•I•A (talk)17:22, 2 March 2013

Ok, so it only let me watch it once so I couldn't grab a picture. Hopefully I can go back after I beat G3 using the crystal balls and fine tune it. Otherwise, that's about all I can do. I've been using this wiki for years and I hope this is helpful rather than detrimental.

The cut scene IS still there, but it's not marked or hinted to at all in the actual game. It simply mentions to "go somewhere meaningful to Aodhan", and the scene procs when you enter the throne room of the castle, and then removes the item from your posesison. To clarify, it mentions to go somewhere meaningful on the Aodhan's Sword Piece Whitnney (talk) 17:52, 2 March 2013 (PST)

Bit of a belated reply but - very nice, thanks for the info!

The unnamed captain, did Aodhan directly succeed him or were there more captains between them? I found something interesting in Strategy Guide:

Oh and one more thing... I totally forgot about this.... Do you... remember the name that was mentioned in that letter box...? Colbha? I found out who Colbha was. It's actually an alias used by the leader before Aodhan... ...I think he also passed away during the tragedy of Emain Macha... ...Esras, to gain the sole control of the Paladin Order of Knights, devised a plan using Colbha, and once he became expandable, she gathered up the evidence and... eliminated him... It's becoming more and more clear that Esras will do anything to get her way. Please be careful.

If Aodhan did directly succeed his unnamed mentor, its Esras's fault Aodhan's unhappy, not just causing the Tragedy.
