Rank 6->5 Musical Knowledge
I have rank 6 musical knowledge. I have the soundbox book to rank it to 5, but it is not giving me the skill training.
I obtained the book from a player shop & it doesn't have the star symbol on the book icon, so maybe it was already redeemed? It shouldn't be tradeable if it's been used, though. Or is this another "you have to derank it" bug?
Since when did redeemed books become untradable? I'm pretty sure they're still tradable like the rest :l
The "you have to derank" thing only applies if you gained exp but there is no "Advance" button.
In your case, I'm afraid you purchased a used book. :\
The book's used...in the case of of those who capped it before the update, yeah you gotta derank it...I already blew off enough on the mystery box on At this point, I can't afford to derank my music knowledge x.x...nor composing, both of which capped before the update
I guess it was my fault for being that desperate to buy it instead of hunting it that I didn't even pay attention to the star symbol. Well, you live and learn. Or just ragequit =p
I promise I won't turn around and scam someone else with the book -- though I might mail it to my friend as a joke since he is also hunting it.
