This is a list of current bugs, bad translation and typos that exist at this time for the North American server.

A list of bugs can be found here

  • There is lag/freezing associated with the way all of the text in-game is being rendered.
    • As of G9 the lag has been reduced to no longer be crippling should the status window be triggered during battle/mana tunnel/campfires.
  • It is possible to keep any transformation title indefinitely by divorcing while transformed.
  • "the Winner of the Guild Battle" title is lost upon leaving the battlefield. The only way to keep it is to transform and detransform and then change channels.
  • Many images in books are missing. All of these missing images are supposed to be of in-game screen shots.
  • The Aeira mini story quest added in the G2S3 update gives the special keyword about Aeira's lunchbox with instruction to ask about it around town. If anyone is talked to using this keyword, it disappears from the memo list. Once the keyword disappears, you must start the quest again by talking to Aeira.
  • When any chat box is focused, holding shift to temporarily change hotkeys, or using shift +tab to permanently change hotkeys, will not work.
  • Sometimes, in PvP situations, if you attack another player and PD activates, their undergarments will turn into what color the PD was until the player is killed.
  • When mounted on a pet, if you try to move too early after going to another map you may experience a loop animation of your character running above your pet.
  • If you run into the corner past Ibbie in Bangor, after hitting the weak spot of the areas graphics, you will be lifted above Bangor with limited movement without going back down.
    • Running backwards will allow you to be freed.
    • There is a similar glitch like this where a Zardine mountain can be climbed from piercing a weak spot.
    • Another one is in a west side corner beyond the northern gate of Dunbarton.
    • Another one is at the Globe Theatre in Avon.
    • Yet another is to the immediate left of the Alby Dungeon Moon Gate.
  • When a player is running a little out of your camera range and you keep moving towards the player, his/her character will glitch and will create a "ghost" character. Meaning he/she could be somewhere else but his/her character is still shown in the last spot your camera range saw him/her.
    • This ghost character will be removed from your screen if your game updates and notices that the player is somewhere else. Will only update this character's information when you can see him/her again.
    • This goes for all playable accounts (pets, etc.).
  • Sometimes when riding the boat in between continents, the water will appear black. This seems to occur primarily when Alpha Channel Fog is enabled.
  • When speaking to Lassar about her special repairs for those with Magic Dan titles, the repair shop opens up, but she does not repair magical items. Instead, normal weaponry appears in the repair window. However, when choosing to repair, Lassar tells you "this item does not need to be fixed" no matter what durability it has.
  • If you click "no" when you do not want to break your allegiance with Elves, there is no "End Conversation" button.
  • If you level up by turning in artifacts to Voight, sometimes there are no "rays" that show you did.
    • This also seems to happen when showing a fossil to Belita and during Commerce.
    • Other players can see the rays however.
  • Cows can be tamed.
  • Exiting your house with a pet summoned and the pet's inventory open will sometimes cause the pet to be desummoned.
  • Sometimes you can enter Longa Desert Ruins Dungeon, and other times you cannot enter at all. The cursor doesn't change into a door and clicking does no good.
    • You can still go in if you press and hold ALT and click on the name.
  • The minimap has trouble rendering with client-side lag, jumping at (regular or random) intervals on a set path.
  • When logging into the game in certain areas, namely inside buildings without their own minimap, the minimap will have a garbled texture similar to cloth.
  • Sometimes when leaving a housing area while on a mount, if re-summoned they are given the title, "the One in Need of Attention."
  • If you are on a flying pet and you press "R" (dismount) during the landing animation, you will be on the ground and the pet will be in the landing animation again. It will then land a few seconds afterwards.
  • When you die the same time as you hide, you will still hide at the same time you are dead. This will still drain your MP.
  • When bottles of poison are laying on the floor, if you zoom out far enough, the bottles turn clear.
  • Due to the size of the trees in Karu Forest, the Dungeon's entrance will be hidden by the tree. You can click on the different sides of the tree to find the entrance.
  • When a Giant uses a specific alchemy skill (like Water Cannon or Mana Crystallization), there is no effect inside the cylinder. Also when a giant holds a cylinder that has Special Upgrade on it, the glow effect does not show.
    • In addition, their charging time of Rain Casting makes the steam un-aligned to the cylinder.
  • If you open the Channel-Changing window and go to any Homestead with it open and attempt to change your channel within the homestead, you will be unable to move or perform any skills. You must Log-out and reenter to fix this bug.
  • There is a bug that prevents the saving of a rule set when adding 'run away from enemy' in the 'Pet AI Editor'. Editing the AI manually to include this will end in a lost AI.
  • When you log off to go to the Character Selection while someone else is playing a music with any type of music bird, you will hear the bird chirp the music until the music ends or you go onto another character.
  • There is difficulty opening any sort of treasure chest while mounted on a Dragon pet, such as Fire Dragon.
  • Talking to the Trade Helper may cause the player to become "stuck" and unable to move. Changing channels or re-logging fixes this.
    • This can happen with any NPC, although it very rarely happens.
  • The last cutscene in Imp Memory stops midway.
  • In Pursuit and Commerce, all current Bandit Ambush Spots may remain invisible after an ambush.
    • This can be remedied temporarily by changing maps, entering a Homestead, changing channels, or relogging.
  • Pursuit icons on the top-right of the screen are invisible.
  • Smuggler Bandits in Corrib Valley permanently remain even after Byrun disappears and will only disappear once they are triggered.
  • Tower Cylinders are graphically glitched when set up in that the set up cannon appears alongside one on your arm.
  • The visual keyboard's "Ok" button does not work.
  • In South West Dunbarton there is a small space, near the tree line, which can cause the player to be stuck in a running loop. This however is only minor and can be fixed by moving towards the East.
  • It is possible to kill Spirit Shifted players by killing the monster just as it is being possessed. When this happens, the controller cannot manually return (although this is due to the unconscious state disabling the UI command); they must wait until the timer runs out. The monster is still counted as dead.
  • For some reason, when repairing Cylinders, the character's Cylinder Ego will appear in the repair box.
    • However, you cannot repair the Spirit Weapon at all.
  • When logging out of the game and the exit ad appears, sometimes you can still hear the login screen's music.
  • While using a wagon during Commerce, running up against walls will cause the wagon to "climb" or run up the wall.
    • This also happens with the Partner's Noble Carriage.
    • These are common with the walls that has arches, like the ones in Dunbarton.
    • Similar effect with edges, it'll send the wagon down the cliff or lean off the edge.
      • This can be found across bridges or high-terrain.
  • Through various methods, the knuckles character model will replace your glove character model while sheathed.
  • For some reason, after disabling "Wait for Rescue," the Phoenix Feather icon will still be up as if you were actually waiting to be resurrected.
  • Alarms may continuously "spam" their sound. Disabling them will cause them to stop. However, enabling them again may cause them to resume spamming the sound.
  • When in Commerce and trading goods to the Smuggler, sometimes, the window from the original location (where you bought the goods from) will appear.
    • This causes your character to be stuck and you have to log out or change channels to remedy the issue.
    • This problem only occurs after you sell your good to Byrun.
  • Triggering and going near bandits during Pursuit causes the Trade Assistant Imp to say messages for them when Commerce is engaged.
    • Resets after logging out or changing channels.
  • During Generation 16's Finale, the beginning cutscene is repeated each time a person enters the mission.
    • This also occurs every time Barrier Spikes are summoned.
    • To prevent this, simply watch the cutscene like normal.
  • Using a regular dye ampoule, pure white pixels can sometimes be hollow and output a different color than what is shown on the preview window.
    • In most cases, it ends up being pure black.
  • After accepting goods from a trade post, the trade post window may appear randomly later on.
    • Goods cannot be purchased if you are not near the trade post when this happens.
  • On some occasions, directly dropping Generation Quest passes from your Special Inventory will cause you to do the normal version of that dungeon.
    • For instance your Barri Dungeon Pass of G2 is stored in your Special Inventory and you pick it up from there and drop it on Barri Dungeon's altar it will bring you to the normal level of the dungeon and not the quest version.
  • Removing clothes from decoration tab after it expires can glitch the particular item that was removed making them invisible when worn to all users except the user who is playing that particular character.
    • The particular glitched clothes will not appear on when in the choosing character screen as well or in cutscenes.
      • Glitched items can be fixed by repurchasing decoration slot and leaving item in it when it expires and buying decoration slot a 3rd time while items are locked in decoration slot.
  • When switching from lower costly method of transportation to a higher costly one during commerce (ex. wagon to elephant), it is possible for the player to freeze in place unable to move or use skills/ actions/ change channels. It is possible to fix this by ranking a skill. Leveling up through a quest or using AP coupons may work as well (needs confirmation). If all other choices are not available, logging out is the only way to fix this.
  • When abnormally disconnected, attempting to log back in right after may have the game re-prompt you create a secondary password again. Attempting to do so will always result in failure, and the client must be restarted to enter the game again.
    • When attempting to enter a secondary password during this occurrence, this may endlessly repeat even if the client is restarted. This will fix itself after a few minutes.
  • In History's Curtain Call, the NPCs may aggro Shakespeare, but are not able to attack him.
  • In History's Curtain Call, when role-playing as Shakespeare and as the players progress to the throne room, dialogue may randomly appear regardless of the phases in Lugh's battle, ultimately sending them to the hanging garden and rendering them incapable of assisting.
  • In History's Curtain Call, as the players progress to the throne room, the next room may not be accessible, preventing further progression; the mission must be restarted.
  • Auto-Targeting does not work properly. In addition, you cannot switch targets with the Tab Key.
    • The Lock On function has to be manually set in the Hotkeys section of the Options menu.
  • Black Ostrich, the Giant Brown Hawk, and the Giant White Snowfield Bear of Generation 2's Power of the Ancient Elves and Generation 2's Power of the Ancient Giants Quest are unresponsive.
  • A Giant's failure animation for Dungeons when they fail causes them to become glitchy during the cutscene.
  • Rank 5 Compose and Rank 4 Musical Knowledge rewards no training experience even if the requirement is complete, and is therefore unrankable.
    • In order to fix this, you must derank the skill if you have capped it before the update.
    • This can also be fixed by sending in a ticket regarding this issue.
  • Transforming into a creature causes party ads to disappear from display.
  • Transforming into a creature while inside the Wedding Hall Lobby causes camera scrolling to freeze. This is remedies by leaving and re-entering the room.
  • Purchasing a Hatsune Miku Soul Stone when incapacitated does not open up the Item Shop Inventory.
  • Upon being Knocked Unconscious while using a Tower Cylinder, the player may "fly" across the map.
    • This may also cause the character to go through various obstacles, such as Trees.
  • Logging off or disconnecting in any role-play causes your hotkeys to completely reset to only the skills you placed in the hotkey while inside the RP.
  • Attempting to use a Ranged Skill while equipped with a Dual Gun on the auxiliary slot while "Automatic weapon slot conversion" is enabled in the Options Dialog will prompt the character to switch to Dual Guns even though they cannot use Ranged Skills.
  • The Elf/Giant-Aligned Blessings received from Castanea/Krug disappears upon leaving their house.
  • The ending cutscene of The Saga: Iria's Episode 4 shows the outdated Filia design. It should be updated for consistency.
  • Several cutscenes during The Saga: Iria's Episode 10 does not have Lia Fail present. Additionally, the cutscene shows the player attacking Millia, when they are supposed to be striking down Lia Fail.
  • Shamala's repair success rate is 0% when it is supposed to be 98%.
  • When in the Shadow Realm of Tara, approaching the locked gate that connects to Rath Royal Castle causes the background music to change to Tara's theme.
  • When in Tara, in both the real world and Shadow Realm, there is a chance the client will not function properly, causing textures to glitch and may result in unexpected errors.
    • Random textures will be loaded in place of the original, or rendered invisible, and will eventually result in a crash of the client.
  • The Dunbarton bell tower can be sighted in various locations throughout Erinn in addition to Dunbarton.
  • Crossing into Connous or Zardine may cause the minimap to glitch and show the previous area.
    • In addition, you may not be able to see the Iria map at the Mana Tunnel, but the marked locations of the tunnels remain.
    • This can be remedied by restarting the client.
  • On occasion, the land in Vales may become transparent, making it extremely difficult to navigate and often results the player "falling below" the land. This can only be fixed by relogging.
  • When attempting to Gem Upgrade the Royal Knight Armor, the "Upgrade" button cannot be pressed, even if the player has all the necessary gold, gem, and proficiency requirements.
  • Under certain circumstances, quest progression can be broken by completing the quest from the Quest Tracker overlay when the quest is not normally able to be completed via the quest window, such as Part-Time Jobs, Generation quests, etc.
  • Players have reported that after the completion of Saga II, they were not awarded the title.
  • In extremely rare cases, Shadow missions may begin abnormally with the Castle Dungeon altar.
  • A Dungeon Fountain may spawn in the same place as a chest, resulting in players being unable to open the chest.
  • While rafting, the player may fail to launch magic, even if they are within range, the player will then be frozen momentarily.
  • There is inconsistency between player cursors while rafting, labeling that he/she is in range for an attack, when really he/she is not.

Item Issues

Partner Issues

  • If your partner is stuck behind an obstacle or wall when attempting to mount, your partner will be stuck and you will be riding the mount alone.
  • When on a Partner mount, the chances of crashes your client is very high upon unsummoning the partner, getting on another partner mount, channel changing, or logging off.
  • Your partner will appear to swap equipment in his or her inventory if another player nearby swaps their equipment, though your partner does not actually swap equipment.
  • Mounting and dismounting a partner mount while the partner is sitting will cause it to be stuck in place until it is desummoned. This, however, does not stop it from warping.
  • Some have reported weight gain on giving Partners food for a quest.
  • They do not remember the Open Umbrella Action after unsummoning the partner once you give it an Umbrella.
    • Some may not learn it at all.
  • Partners may fail to teleport to you when attempting to help gathering, this does not nullify their effects, however.
  • Equipping your Commerce Partner with a wand will cause her character model to glitch, making most of her animations fail to show up.
    • If you use the partner piggyback action with her using a wand, she will stand on top of your shoulders instead of riding you like normal.
    • Also, if you command her to sit, then equip the item, she is stuck sitting. When piggybacking this way, she will sit on your shoulders.
    • The same seems to be true when holding two swords.
  • Graphical glitches may occur when using the minimize function (Simplifying other players into simple robe figures) to reduce lag.
  • Maids may not repair other accessories after repair a single point or a complete repair.
    • This can be fixed by resummoning the Maid.
  • Brooms may be separated from the partner, allowing mounting of the broom anywhere. The cause of this is unknown.
  • There are instances where you may not receive your partner's daily quest, regardless of location.
  • When failing by chance while shearing Paper Sheep, your partner acts as if it succeeded.
  • When talking to the partner, selectable options may not work, causing the player to get stuck and forcing a force-close on the client.

Skill-based Issues

  • When composing it is possible to create a scroll that will glitch and lose the score title. Any music effects of that scroll will still work but the score will not say what they are. Additionally you can open the scroll and see the content, but not the buff effect or the title. This seems to happen with scrolls that have max characters for song but may happen randomly. The score is still playable and the effects will still work.
  • When cooking, taking an item currently being used as an ingredient out of your inventory and placing it in a pet's inventory during the cooking animation will cause the player to stay in the cooking animation and no dish to be produced. The player will remain in the cooking animation until moving or doing another action.
  • Due to client-side lag, when the player uses Firebolt, there may be "Fire Frames" around the player when he/she launches Firebolt.
  • Similarly, Final Hit can get 'stuck' onto a player. The player will be shown with the Final Hit effect but he/she is not actually using the skill.
  • When more than one player or pet is attacking a single monster, a player attempting to use Smash may experience "looping" in which the past few moments in time continuously loop, heavily delaying the attack.
    • This can be avoided if the player manually moves close to the enemy first, and then attacks.
  • While Ice Spear is loaded, opening certain menus will remove the spear visual from over your head.
  • Atlatls sometimes misplace where your character is at, making your character move closer to the enemy to throw it, even when the enemy was in range.
  • Sometimes you cannot throw a javelin at all even when you're next to an enemy, and the enemy cannot hit you either.
  • Changing to combat mode during any fishing animation will discontinue all following animations until the skill is canceled.
  • Some Human characters made before the implementation of Play Dead and Rock Throwing actions have not been given the quest to learn these actions.
  • If invoked by clicking ctrl from a distance, alchemical or magical attacks may attempt to move you right on top of the enemy before discharging, instead of stopping you at maximum range. This can be avoided by invoking the skill with extended- or multiple-clicking, or clicking again once within range.
  • Refining in the housing channel by using an in-house furnace does not work.
  • You cannot hear a Dark Knight's transformation sound unless you view the cutscene.
  • If Meteor kills someone, the defeated target may be 'stuck' standing in Combat Mode when they are supposed to be lying on the floor dead.
  • If 2 players use Wings of Rage on each other at the same time in a duel the duel will reset into a second duel if either player dies. (When killed by Wings of Rage you are still able to attack the opponent)
  • Any Bolt Magic (Icebolt, Firebolt and Lightning Bolt) will cancel when switching to another weapon other than bare-handed.
  • Sometimes if Fusion Bolt is used and either none or not all of the charges of the magic are used and the skill is cancelled, the left-hand magic will still have a bolt charge graphic on your character.
    • Other players cannot see the leftover bolts.
    • This also may occur in cutscenes. The skill bubble will also appear in the original location of the character, but will not follow the character.
  • Using Charge while merged with a Lime Sprite will cause a choppy animation and cause the skill to fail no matter where you are relative to the opponent.
  • Using Assault Slash when an enemy is pinned near the wall, depending on the player's angle, they may "leap" into the wall and will be stuck inside the wall.
    • This seems to happen more often with players using Lances.
    • The monster will not be hurt by the Assault Slash.
    • This can be (occasionally) fixed by clicking inside the dungeon room while on a mount, or (if possible) clicking the Mouse Hole in the shadow mission The Other Alchemists.
  • Transforming or de-transforming with Gold Strike loaded will cause the bag to visually disappear until canceled or thrown.
    • If done with a weapon equipped on the right hand, you will appear to hold that weapon instead of the bag.
    • It is also possible to visually replace the bag with a weapon by loading Gold Strike, dropping the weapon, and picking it up without anything equipped.
  • When a person uses Blaze, the sound effects do not get fainter as you move away from the user.
  • Similarly, you can hear the Defense Debuff sound effect from Spinning Uppercut, regardless of how far away you are from where the Spinning Uppercut occurred.
  • Using the Courtship Gesture, then walk and switch weapons will cause the secondary weapon to either become invisible or become a bouquet.
    • This will only work, as long this is done during the animation's length.
    • This can be fixed by reequipping the weapon.
  • When using Frozen Blast on a monster while being killed, if the monster dies before the animation is completed, then they will be frozen when unconscious.
    • The same method can also be done by the Ice Dragon's Ice Storm.
    • This can only work when the monster/enemy is targeted and the animation launched, then killed before the skill is done.
    • This can also apply to PvP when a person targets an enemy in the process of being killed.
      • The enemy will be frozen in place; however, they can use any skill to attack their opponent.
  • When a Giant has a Staff and uses any melee skills on a monster or player, the animation of the attack will happen; however, no damage number will appear nor the health bar changes.
    • The damage does take place, but it's not visible until the Giant uses a bolt spell or swaps out for another weapon and attacks.
  • Firing Gold Strike can sometimes cause the gold pouch to remain in your hand.
  • Attacking right after an enemy has loaded Windmill will result the opponent taking no damage. Windmill will still "activate", but will act as if nothing happened.
    • Likewise, it is possible to take no damage by activating Windmill and shortly using it afterwards as you get attacked.
    • The skill's cooldown is still invoked.
  • Depending on the player's angle and positioning, using Pummel will push you and the target far off the map until the skill has completed.
    • The enemy may be stuck, which can be fixed by Windmilling their former position.
  • Pummel may sometimes end abruptly with only the first attack.
  • Chain 2 and 3 Fighter Skills will lose their cooldown shadow in the Chain Gauge if they are clicked, but this does not effect their actual cooldowns.
    • This does not apply to the hotkey bar.
  • Cancelling Respite before it is completed will cause the cooldown shadow to disappear, although it does not affect the actual cooldown.
  • If any 2nd or 3rd Chain Skill is used too soon after a Chain 1 Skill defeats the monster, the 2nd/3rd Chain will attack the already-dead monster, but will act as if nothing happened.
    • If this happens, the Chain will end abruptly.
    • The skill's cooldown is still invoked.
  • Charging Strike, Focused Fist, and Tumble can cause displacement lag, regardless of internet connection.
  • Charging Strike can hit targets outside of boundaries and behind Barrier Spikes.
  • When battling bandits near Lake Abb Neagh, and bandits spawn inside the lake, it is possible to use Pummel to target the bandits and "jump" into the lake.
    • The same thing happens with Doppelganger.
  • Using Fighter Skills may "lock" the hotkey bar and the mouse to become unresponsive. This is fixed by loading Focused Fist or the last skill used prior to the "lockdown" of hotkeys.
  • Using a skill with a cooldown and then changing channels may cause the cooldown to be extended. This is because the channels are not in-sync with the actual server time.
  • Act 7: Climactic Crash may cause other puppetry skills to become disabled until the marionette is dismissed. The likely cause is the displacement between the puppeteer and marionette after successful execution of the skill in small or narrow areas. This also happens when the marionette goes through obstacles.
    • In some cases, the marionette may not be controlled at all. When it can be controlled, all act skills can not be activated.
  • Using Wire Pull on a target with Smash loaded may cause the player to become stunned momentarily until Smash's animation would normally end.
  • Control Marionette's act skill cooldown reduction does not work properly.
    • This can be remedied by unsummoning and then resummoning the marionette after using an act skill.
  • Using Doppelganger may randomly cause some clones to glitch and continuously reanimate the summon animation.
  • Combo: Counter Punch may sometimes not deal critical damage even if a critical hit occurs.
  • Perseus can load skills while flying, though it cannot use them.
  • Transformation Mastery creature bonus contributes to Protection rather than Magic Defense.
  • Previewing equipment in a shop while transformed as a monster will cause the character's skin to appear a dull gray.
  • Shadow Spirit and Brionac infused with Shock or Demigod do not lower the Defense and Protection stats of monsters.
  • Using Hydra Transmutation on a bandit that has taken stars from your cart during Commerce, the bandit will drop and not return your stars.

Monster Issues

  • Any monster with the Stomp skill can instantly perform the skill without a delay once knocked down several times in rapid succession.
    • It does not seem to land any hits at times.
  • When a Wyvern swoops around while flying or attacking, a silhouette of it can be seen for a split second hovering near the ground.
  • If an enemy is attacked by a player or pet, but left open for a finish by another player, the enemy may sometimes appear to be knocked into the wall, making the finish only possible with Windmill, Stomp, Assault Slash, Firebolt, Icebolt, Lightning Bolt.
    • This only happens when the player is attempting to finish the monster while it is still airborne form the final strike.
    • However, you may also press space (Go out of Combat Mode and into Normal Mode), then target the enemy out side of range. If at first it doesn't work, then go back into combat mode and try one more time.
  • Sometimes after knock-back, a monster may automatically retaliate (no animation shown).
    • When this occurs, the player will not be knocked back (unless deadly) even if it's programmed to do 1-hit.
    • Some monsters, such as the Gold Armor Hound (Topaz Longa), cause no knock-back animation for the player when they are attacked, which results in the game client showing the player about to be knocked back, but then the monster will just stop. However, the player was knocked back, resulting in a "teleport" effect after the next action the player takes.
      • This is known as displacement lag.
  • Monsters killed by pets when the pet's owner has "Enable Pet Auto Finish" active do not contribute to Party Quests.
  • The Goblin Bandit spawn for "East Plain of Dunbarton" may show up to the same vicinity as those of "North Plain of Dunbarton"
  • If you hit a monster just as it loads a skill, you can create an effect known as Skill Lock, which causes the monster to permanently remain in the skill it attempted to use until you hit it again or it successfully executes the skill.
  • In Dungeons, Shadow Missions and Theatre Missions, all monsters may randomly despawn and will never reappear. If this happens, the mission cannot be completed. However, the dungeon may be continued, as the Dungeon Room Key sometimes drops shortly after despawning.
  • If the Grim Reaper receives a Critical Hit during the diving phase in his Windmill, there is a possibility that the Grim Reaper will permanently be invisible and cannot be attacked. However, the Reaper can still attack you.
  • Any tamed monster that uses Teleportation will be become untamed.
  • Any monster who uses Teleportation may become glitched, preventing it from being attacked and from moving.
  • Monsters killed with Lance Counter will not drop gold even if the player acquires a Lucky Finish.
  • The icon for 'stealing' for Bandits does not show as it is being used.
  • If you are killed by Life Drain (Monster), its effects will still remain on the player. You must re-log or change channels.
  • Ifrit may randomly glitch and become unattackable, nor can it attack anyone. This occasionally happens when it collides with an obstacle.
  • Doppelganger (Monster) may imitate multiple players at once, sharing both of their chats and potentially sharing clothing and features.
  • Doppelganger (Monster)'s health may remain fixed at some amount of health regardless of how much damage it takes until it dies.
  • Korsek Raptors may not finish properly with certain skills. They will be killed, but "Finish" will remain over their heads. This can be resolved by moving in close and using the skill.
  • While in Commerce, there will be a small chance that the bandit spawn is displaced and when the spawn is actually corrected (usually the spawn being within' your hit range), you have no possible way of escaping the spawn and forced to engage bandits.
  • Poisoned Sasquatches sometimes cannot be attacked, but can neither attack the player. To resolve that case you would use Shuriken Charge to damage them, however they will still be unable to attack the player.
  • Head Hobgoblins cannot be attacked, but can still attack the player. The only way to harm them is Counterattack, Lance Counter, or Combo: Counter Punch.

Crashings

  • Due to unknown errors, players may experience random crashings that range from talking to NPCs to requesting trades.
    • For more information, see here.
    • This happens much often on low-end computers.
  • Occasionally, restarting the computer after experiencing the 'game errors', and then reloading the game client may result in Windows 'Blue Screen' errors.
    • Client files may be damaged and your client launcher will have to redownload any damaged files, if any.
      • In some cases, starting from the website will result in redownloading the actual installer.
  • Several actions can cause Mabinogi to load an "error" window including using Nao and closing Fraps while in game. There is no actual description for the error and it only happens to a few people.
    • If you are resurrected by Nao and try to target an enemy or load a skill during her exit animation, your client might freeze, resulting in a hard crash.
  • The game will sometimes crash when talking to various NPCs.
  • The game may crash if you're mounted on a giant and alt-tab out of the game window.
  • The game may crash and permanently lock the player out from a single character/pet. There is no identifiable cause.
  • The game will crash when talking to any NPC with the Keyword obtained from the Untranslated Spirit Weapon Transfer Quest.
    • This can be fixed by submitting a ticket to Nexon claiming the Keyword had been obtained and the GMs should fix your account.
  • The game may crash if you attempt to log into a character and will continue to do so without an identifiable cause.
    • This can be fixed by logging onto a different character on the same account before logging into the desired character.
  • Excessively channel changing or changing characters may result in a crash or a forced disconnection.
    • This also happens when entering or exiting the Housing channel.
  • Logging in and quickly choosing a character may result in a crash.
  • Initiating "Speak with you Spirit Weapon" while in Tara, can occasionally cause your game to freeze.
    • Especially true if you are spamming "/" key in an attempt to get your spirit weapons daily effect.
  • After the encryption of the new client, walking in Tara can sometimes cause the Hackshield to believe that the player is using a speed-hack, due to the lag produced in Tara, making a Hackshield Error & crashes the client.
    • This happens more often on lower-end computers.
  • Bug: G10 Maiz Role-playing quest the character gets stuck in dungeon: not able to play the rp: "Restoring Irinid's Ancient Artifact"
