Lost Elf Quest - Now Obsolete?
So, there's good news and bad news. The good news is that, as you guys have said, Lost Elf quests still work. Even though the quest still says Castanea on it, the quest marker blinks at the Healer's House when you select it. I was able to complete the quest as is shown in the video.
The bad news is that turning the Lost Elves to Atrata does not fulfill the Falcon quest requirement of "I should find the lost Elf and bring it back to Castanea" so it's still not possible for me (or anyone) to progress past that point on the outdated Falcon quest.
Not like it really matters to anyone but me, though.
Shouldn't you be able to ignore the Falcon quest completely and just do G2 for your Falcon?
I believe that was the point of Genesis... have you tried talking to Lorna?
If all else fails, you could send a ticket to Nexon so they can (eventually) get you out of that mess.
He's doing it to record the conversations, not to get Falcon. :l
I'm sorry, I missed that part.
Still, if he plans on getting his alt Falcon now, he should do like I said.
Maybe I should check my screenshot collection for some from my Falcon/Savage Beast quests from Iria's release. I actually have done my own recording since... near the end of G2 for pretty much all storyline quests. Not Genesis G2... the original.
Edit: Checked through my screenshot folder. Turns out I have recorded earlier than near the end of G2, but I did not record the Falcon or Savage Beast quests which I did less than a month after Iria was released.
I already finished recording the Falcon questline before they changed it, so it's no problem. It's just that my notes from last year were a bit confusing towards the end (since I was still new to recording), so I was hoping kind of to "proofread" by going over the Falcon quest again. I guess now I've just got to sort out that branching mess towards the end with whatever I have.
Well, as long as you've got them, it's all good. :)
