Though I am not Angevon, I would like to respond to your comment on her talk page. All unreleased content is placed in a different section of the article where a currently released content is. If there is any page where there is unreleased content on the same section as released comment, tell me what page it is on and I will do my best to fix this problem. As for the comment you left on Angevon's page, please use four tildes (~~~~) to leave a signature next to your comment. This will make it easier to know who has left the comment. I was typing this but Kevin got there first: The released and unreleased skills are separated out completely on our skill list pages. There does not be a skill list page with only the released on it. --- Angevon (Talk) 02:55, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
What I meant to say is that certain unreleased skills are under the section of skills they belong too (Ex: Evasion (on Melee combat skills page), Blaze (on Magic page [Isn't Blaze alchemy?]), Carpentry( Life skills)). Sometimes you just want to count the number of current (and actual *points at Magic*) skills. When those skills come out, I'll be fine with them there but until then, they should be moved off of those pages. Mackinz 03:33, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Re: Future Skills Edits?

Good move on the Blaze edit. However, I discussed the Alchemy category with Angevon and she suggested

I'd leave the alchemy skills where they are. When G9 comes, we can move the unimplemented alchemy skills into the future skills category.

I tend to agree with her as G9 is just around the corner. If you still want to move it then perhapes get Angevon to agree. By the way, I'm not an admin and have no more authority than you do, on the wiki, so you don't need to ask my permission XD. On the Blaze page you added an exclamation mark to the end comment tag, however, I believe the end comment tag doesn't use an exclamation mark, only the beginning comment tag does. That is, it should be <!-- comment here --> and not <!-- comment here --!>. With an exclamation mark added, the end tag becomes non-functional, i.e., anything entered after the end tag is included in the comment and won't display on the saved page (that's why the comment aqppeared to be working after your edit, as nothing was entered after it). The choice is yours but consider that they are all skills even if they aren't listed on the magic skill tab in-game. Skills are those abilities a player specifically needs to do something and for that reason the Actions and Gathering pages are listed in Category:Skills. You could still create Category:Psuedo Magic Skills as a sub-category of Category:Magic but I would list the psuedo skills in both categories, so that those wanting a list of all magic skills can still see them in one place. --ZRoc (Talk) 06:16, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
What browser are you using? With Firefox, both ways work but the extra exclamation mark makes the end tag non-functional as described above (also MediaWiki and Wikipedia both indicate that there shouldn't be an exclamation mark in the end tag). --ZRoc (Talk) 06:21, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

By the way, the transformation skills for Demigod do belong in Category:Future Skills but as both Category:Transformation and the Transformations page mentions them in their charts I'd leave them there as well. Sorry, I missed that. So, your telling me that the skills are fraudulent? I think you can pick a much better name than that. "Pseudo" has negative connotation. I don't see what's so bad about the hidden skills. Basically, some instruments have wrong classifications. For example, a Hand Chime is a percussion instrument in real life, but in Mabinogi it's a string instrument (it doesn't even have any strings).

This affects enchants related to certain types of instruments (if there are any) and Enthralling Performance. That is, you can't use a percussion instrument enchant on a Hand Chime and you can use it for Enthralling Performance at Ranks 9+ when you're supposed to use it starting at 5.

Bass Drum, Music Bottles, Handbells, and Cello don't have any classifications. I can't find anything else aside from that.

Music bottles should be wind instrument, as they can read all 3 lines of a composition, where as Handbells only read the melody line.

So you say you've recorded the original generation 1 and 2 scripts? Though I've been a fan of Chapter 1 since I completed it early on, I only ever got the chance to record after they revamped it. I've since compiled my work and uploaded it here, if you haven't already seen it.
Your recording of the original script, even if it's all still in screenshots, is a valuable resource to the public (for whoever cares, like me lol). Do you mind compiling and uploading the old version onto the wiki, or letting me do it for you given your materials? I'd give you credit for what you provide me.
Of course, this is only if the differences are significant enough. Compare your old G1 recordings with the new ones on my page, and tell me if the text differences aren't major enough to have another version up on the wiki. Tbh, I don't remember enough from the old version to have been able to recognize any omissions as I was recording.
Just for the record, I still haven't recorded G2 (post-Genesis) past the screenshot stage and I don't know if I will.

I wouldn't say I have them all... I have some. I have not tallied them all up, but I can safely say I have a number of snapshots from the pre-Genesis G2 and a bit towards the end of pre-Genesis G1.
