Mabinogi EU Closing

Mabinogi EU Closing

That's really sad. It's unlikely that any friends/guilds will stay together for long after the closing, I'd imagine a lot of goodbyes and futile contact information being exchanged. During the last day of closed beta before the beta characters were deleted, everyone NPC'd all their items and had campfire fat parties in the square. Beta characters had no value though and were to be deleted from the start. It's too bad they are only giving half Nexon Cash back based only on amounts spent, it's not like it cost the corporation anything. Nexon has given up on a lot of games already such as Poptag, Audition, and Kartrider. I really hope they never cancel NA Mabinogi.

I feel really bad for these guys, it reminds me of the old game I used to play...it unfortunately closed ><

There's already EU guilds forming o3o

Europa guild on mari popped up before IP release (Obvious proxy obvious) But has anyone noticed that they have expensive gear/clothes and are only under total 100? (Based on beginner destiny title)

I'm not saying it's not impossible for them to get this equipment at their level but I'm just going to assume they vought a lot of NA NX somehow.

It was part of their compensation. They got like 20k NX+ depending on how much they spent in EU

some even got hundreds I believe. I know there's one in Alexina (or it could be rumors i've been hearing...) that ended with like the maximum amount of compensation.

From what I heard, they get half the amount of NX they spent in EU the last six months. (So if somebody reached max, they actually payed somewhere between max and DOUBLE max.)

there's a currency deferential between euro/European currecy and us dollar...not sure if that matters, but at any rate I'm just glad they got refunded in some sort of form instead of starting from scratch.

You're all missing the point. This was before the IPs were unblocked and most of them were using a proxy to play on NA.

Which is way before they were compensated.
