Fragment of a discussion from Talk:Wiki Home

Neither did I, which is why I was confused as to why use the whole Mining.png thing. Where was it discussed that it should not be spoken of?

Kapra - (Talk)02:32, 8 March 2014

Did you forget the whole Nexon intervention of '0whateveryear?

Ikkisuki (talk)02:40, 8 March 2014

No but I don't recall us ever banning speaking of Mining.png or speaking of anything else. What page was this discussion on again, on the font page's talk page? I kind of recall is concluding that we'd continue doing what we were doing and not give a x.

I think this is the thread: Thread:Talk:Wiki Home/Regarding the recent policy changes.
(Looked at file usage for File:Mining.png)

Sylfaen (talk)14:58, 8 March 2014

Thanks Sylfaen. So from what I understand from that thread, do not data mine PTS (which almost nobody in NA has access to), and do not copy data mining word for word, but you can data mine.

Kapra - (Talk)17:25, 8 March 2014

Almost nobody? We lost the privilege due to too much leaking. I had access to it and still have the client files to it. It doesn't connect.

PTS still exists, though the update server was moved and much of team was abolished, at least, since last I heard in October. Was the entire thing deleted recently?

no clue. I do know that you get a connection error (or at least I do). I didn't really interact with anyone except the GMs managing the servers and receiving quite luxurious gear to aid myself into using the new skills, such as an AP 1000 potion. Useful, but dreadfully never used all the AP due to training requirements becoming too high and time constrains.

Because they occasionally provide a new launcher for it, and if you don't have the newest/latest, you can't get in anymore.
