Having Defense loaded with a shield equipped will make attacks like Meteor, Invitation of Death, Thunder, Fireball, Tail Attack, Stampede, Rain of Thunder, Flames of Hell do 1 Damage. How it works, I don't know. I was going to ask if someone can explain that because according to the Defense page:
Which is clearly not completely true as I've tanked Meteor.
Defense summary doesn't have any mention of Magic Defense or Prot. Patch notes says something about a shield increasing the effects of Defense and Wind Guard, I wonder what that is...
