A small note

Please do not replace images that are within policy with image breaking ones. As a general rule of thumb once an up to code image is up it's not necessary to replace it anymore. Also be aware that ANY clothing containing white, black, or images with the glow effect enabled are against the image policy.

Miyani00:12, 27 February 2011

K, I didn't know the clothing couldn't contain black or white. Also the glow effect was from inside the Rath Castle. So I don't really understand how any of the images I replaced are image breaking ones? Especially since the last time I replaced an image I was told to have good lightning.

Shelbifer09:41, 27 February 2011

Also forgot to turn glow effect off >o< So sorry about that also.

Shelbifer09:44, 27 February 2011

Again, turn off the glow effects and stop uploading images with black in them.

kaede-kit (Talk)12:54, 27 February 2011

Also, the image policy says not to upload full black and full white outfits. Mine how ever isn't full black or full white unless someone here is color blind and can't see the BLUE. Also the image policy says not to use simulator photos and my photo was REPLACING a simulator photo.

Shelbifer13:01, 27 February 2011

The Bianca Wing Bolero pictures clearly contain black in them. 'Full black or full white' means any part of the image, not the whole thing. It is impossible to see detail with full black and white image, as well with neon-colored ones.

kaede-kit (Talk)13:09, 27 February 2011

LOL seriously? Full black and full white means the whole outfit is black and/or white. My picture is extremly good quality and it's even zoomed in so you can see the details on the dress.

Shelbifer13:14, 27 February 2011

Er, no it's not. You've still got the glow effects on, and your hair covers some part of the outfit, which obscures details. Also, you've kept on uploading your pictures back even when an admin (Angevon) has reverted them back. And to clarify, 'full on black and white' probably means pure black and white, which is what you've got.

kaede-kit (Talk)13:17, 27 February 2011

Ya k. Totally obscures details.

Shelbifer13:34, 27 February 2011

Avoid a purely monochromatic, full-white, full-black, and/or white/black color scheme. With these color sets, it is difficult to distinguish between the dye-able parts and the gears' details are usually lost. Even if only one part is dyed black or white, we don't want it. Also your images were not of better quality in most of them. The character simulator images should be replaced with in policy images which none of yours have been. please refer to Category:NeedPicture for images that NEED new pictures and stop replacing ones that don't.

Miyani15:52, 27 February 2011

Ya k, way to change the image policy because you're all mad. Also Miyani, my sources say you change other peoples images for no reason also because you want to be the one that's in all the pictures. Pls rage moar. You also owe someone a certain 40 mil~ *cough* Syllwynn *cough*

Shelbifer16:19, 27 February 2011

Stop provoking other people. You broke the image policy. Now you know the policy, dont break it again. I broke some policy few times by accident, so I don't do it again. That's it.

Fallenone16:45, 27 February 2011

Umm, I didn't break it. They changed it once I had already fixed some pictures. So pls try again.

Shelbifer16:46, 27 February 2011

The policy is subject to change. Also, no-black-dyed parts and no glow effects was always part of it.

Angevon (Talk)16:48, 27 February 2011

I can barely see the skirt part in Bianca Wing Bolero. If I am wrong, I'm sorry.

But really, "So pls try again"?

Fallenone16:49, 27 February 2011

Looks like you need glasses then cause I as well as a few other people can see it just fine.

Shelbifer16:53, 27 February 2011

bianca wing bolero have two layers of skirt, but since both part are black, it looks like its single.

apparently, it seems that glasses are better than contact lens so ill keep your word in mind.

Fallenone16:56, 27 February 2011

Ummm, there's they grey part in the picture where the skirt seperates, but ya k.

Shelbifer16:58, 27 February 2011

http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/index.php?title=Highlander_Long_Bow

This has black in it why isn't this changed, hm?

Shelbifer17:09, 27 February 2011

Look at the history. there was a edit war on it.

Fallenone17:11, 27 February 2011

I really see no point in talking to you anymore. I'm out.

Fallenone17:12, 27 February 2011

This edit war seems pretty pointless to me. Tell me the reason you are changing the image.

Fallenone18:40, 27 February 2011

Reason is: The image policy says no simulator images. So I replaced it with a better one. The image I put up has a glow effect on the skin and not on the outfit also. You can also tell a difference where the skirts are layered too because of the greyish area where they separate. But no, Miyani wants to be wiki picture whore. ^-^

Shelbifer18:45, 27 February 2011

I respectively ask you a question. I am not questioning you or anything. just curious question.

what good does having your image on your wiki does to you? the name isn't shown on the page. Only way to know who uploaded to the picture is to go the page for that file.

so this is my question: why would someone want to be a wiki picture whore?

again, just curious question in neutral tone. im not argueing nor debating with you.

Fallenone18:49, 27 February 2011

Also, replacing the policy-violating image with another policy-violating image is pretty pointless.

Fallenone19:01, 27 February 2011

Because, the picture I put up was zoomed in and made dress look alot better then the previous picture that I replaced.

Miyani, on the other hand likes to replaces pictures that are already decent with pictures of her own character and I don't actually see why.

Shelbifer19:03, 27 February 2011

Why don't we change the policy so that it says that we are only allowed to upload images that doesn't have any details obscured with black/white or if no other picture of it is available? ~小太郎 TALKCONTRIBS 2011:02:28:06:01 (Monday)

~小太郎 TALK<sub style="margin-left:-26px 22:01, 27 February 2011

I really don't see how black and white obscures detail, they look perfectly fine. & there are plently of other outfits on here that have black and white in them and they haven't been changed either.

Shelbifer04:21, 28 February 2011

Sometimes people might have brightness/contrast toned down on their monitors and some people have bad eyesight (But not bad enough for glasses). What I see is that some clothing have details that are in black/white only and dyeing it that colour will make the detail invisible ~小太郎 TALKCONTRIBS 2011:02:28:13:59 (Monday)

~小太郎 TALK<sub style="margin-left:-26px 05:59, 28 February 2011

Details on my picture looked perfectly fine, even had plenty of other people look at it and agree that mine looked better, k thanx. ^-^

Shelbifer06:02, 28 February 2011

The Cross-stich Dress you uploaded seems fine, not sure why they are reverting that (Might be the hair, but idk). The Halloween Witch Robe, however, colours a fine, but you forgot about turning glow effect off, obvious if you look at the feet, and try not to take pictures in the grand hall of Rath because of the reflective floor... ~小太郎 TALKCONTRIBS 2011:02:28:14:17 (Monday)

~小太郎 TALK<sub style="margin-left:-26px 06:17, 28 February 2011

Also, if you could, when posting screenies of an item, try to just wear that item ~小太郎 TALKCONTRIBS 2011:02:28:14:18 (Monday)

~小太郎 TALK<sub style="margin-left:-26px 06:18, 28 February 2011

Plenty of people have said the witch robe one looks fine since the glow effect isn't messing with the robe at all. and the Cross-stitched looks perfectly fine, it's just Miyani wanting her have her way~

Shelbifer06:19, 28 February 2011

When a policy says to have glow effects off, glow effects should be off.
