From Mabinogi World Wiki

I thought it might be better if I just changed my account name on the wiki to my actual Mabi IGN, sooooooo I made this account <:

can you please just tell us what the title means?!?!? im way to lazy to figure it out... slayer1o1 02:01, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

No.
$#*% YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! I GOT 'YOU JUST LOST' AND KNEW WHAT IT MEANT!!!!!!!!!!!! I DONT LIKE YOU ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I NEVER WILL!!!!!!!!! lol its on my page too. you also need a link to the site. slayer1o1 02:06, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

That thing at the end of your page is both awesome and evil. Did you come up with it? Sisakat 04:50, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Sorta made it up on the spot.
Ya but do you know what "the game" is? I guess you do because you said its evil. slayer1o1 00:48, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

The real question is, do you know the the game ends when the Queen of England says she lost the game on National Television. Oh and, You just Lost again.
dont like you. But i dont want the game to end >:( i like it. 02:09, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

I first thought about making the background yellow too, but i changed it yellow shield on red box because some people may get it confused with a life skill, as yellow boxs are mostly reserved for production skills, where as red boxes are reserved for combat skills. Also you might notice that all Ranged Attacks have a red box.--Hengsheng120 05:45, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

I got the icon from the Japanese Wiki.

Slice of Cheese

What were you trying with the nowiki tag? Also, wasnt the hungry at 25 before you edited it? --Kevin (•Talk•) 00:36, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

I was trying to get rid of the '%' sign because food doesn't recover according to percentage. I experimented a little (Rather hated the game system) and used a fountain while transformed. It dopped my hunger down to 0 so I killed a rat and ate a slice of cheese. My hunger was at 0/600 and it went up to 10/600. So I'm assuming that unless Slices of Cheese heals your hunger by 0.6%, cheese will heal 10 hunger. I'm not good at templates and such so I was just testing it out.
P.S. I also found out that a Sliced Meat heals 30 hunger.
If you could be so kind as to tell me how to change the layout layout, that'd be nice ^^
It healed Hunger? or Stamina? Hunger should be in Percentages where it says 'Food 100%' --Kevin (Talk‧) 00:46, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
It healed hunger.

For the Weebs

ごめんあさい - gomennasai = 2 Ns (Incorrect)
ごめんなさい - gomennnasai = 3 Ns (Correct)

ごgo めme んnn なna さsa いi

For the record, ん is just one N.

--Beatiford

^^ Try typing just one N in any word processing document. Also, I can scan a book that I got when I was in grade 1 that proves otherwise.
Still wrong. Way to use an IME as an "authoritative" source of info about the Japanese language. Typing 'nn' into Microsoft's IME will in fact yield 'ん,' however, this is only so that the computer can distinguish between a sylabbic ん and the 'n' series な、に、ぬ、ね、の when writing things like んい as in しんいち (Shin'ichi). Try typing 'gomenkudasai' and you'll see that it properly yields ごめんください. Next time take some Japanese. --Inemnitable
I can more or less confirm this. In order to type in something like "It can't be!", it is, in fact, "sonnna" to yield "そんな". --Irjustman 08:53, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm just waiting for someone to look up the definition of 'weeb' and realize that I trust my sense of my first language over someone who's first language is English, and still cannot differentiate between the word "Your" and "You're". Zephyre 11:09, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

--Sozen Cratos Focker 02:08, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

You fail to see that the 9 is repeated. Since it is repeated, the decimal is moved over one to the right. 0.9*10=9.0, however 0.99*10=9.9
Also, .: = Period Colon. = Therefore.

oh, didnt see that line.
piriod colon is just easier to write than ∴.--Sozen Cratos Focker 03:06, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

"Soooooooooooooo 1+1 = 0.9... + 0.9... = 1.99...8" You can't do this. If you tack on an 8 at the end, you no longer have an infinite string of 9s. You've violated the meaning of the notation, so your conclusion is invariably false. --Inemnitable

∞={∞|∞∈R} This means that infinity is equal to the set of infinity such that it is an element of the Real Number System. An example of your logic is this: We all know pi (π) is a never-ending number. However, multiplied by a certain amount, it can be proven to actually terminate. How is this possible? 5124.34π = 16098.5889, a nice terminating decimal. The Real Number System in itself is flawed and finding the flaws in this system is very interesting. You should stop living by the way everything is etched into stone and think outside the box. Zephyre 11:26, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

If you're going to throw backhanded remarks at other users, at least make sure your own logic works. The way you've written "1+1 = 0.9... + 0.9... = 1.9...8" is inherently flawed. Also, I'm not quite sure this sort of thing belongs on the wiki even if it is your own user page.--Mystickskye 11:54, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Not quite sure who you're talking to, though considering I am an active contributer to the wiki, I'm not breaking any of the wiki policies. However, if you would rather me erase this information on my user page, I would agree to it because it is, in essence, not about Mabinogi. Also, another set notation would be this: 1 + 1 = [1,0.∞), (0.∞,0.8) where the 0.∞ and the 0.8 can never be reached. Zephyre 12:31, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

W8, where did the 9x=9 come from again?--Sozen Cratos Focker 01:34, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Due to the crappy layout of the page, it seems off, but it actually says
9x/9 = 9/9

--ZephyreTALK 01:58, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

My hero!

Good going on making sure the use of "its" v. "it's" is correct on the site. I absolutely can't STAND it when someone uses "it's" when they really mean "its", though if I see it, I'll make such a change myself. Keep it up! --Irjustman 17:04, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

zz it just bugged me when I saw it on a page so I just typed in "it's" into the search bar and scanned through all the pages with "it's" in it <__<;;. Hey, I had nothing better to do sooooo --Zephyre 22:36, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

AR delay

So, fast bows, normal bows, and slow bows fire at the same rate for you? (Refering to this [edit]) Even though delay is negligible at far distances, under certain circumstances (ex. multi-aggro hit), it is not at close distances, especially for people with higher average ping or lower end computers. --Hengsheng120 20:34, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

I got rid of that edit because it isn't true. Though most information on the wiki is considered to be tested with a low ping, there will still be delay before you can fire the first shot. I've asked a guild member who has ~20 ping and myself with ~90 ping to test this out with LLBs and Short Bows. The word "Instantly" means that there's "no delay", meaning once the skill loads, the arrow will fire. Even if you manage to shoot off the arrow at 0%, the part that you can fire instantly is false because the player must first go into the "aim animation" (Arm pulled back). I deleted that area for that reason alone. Also, the part about the fire rate of the bows should be clear from the Bows page. Slow bows are labelled as "Slow" while fast bows are labelled as "Fast". --Zephyre 22:54, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Rate of fire doesn't seem to affect regular ranged attack fire speed though. How do you ranged attack zero shoot with fast bow?--Hengsheng120 23:22, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
There's a noticable difference in rate of fire for regular ranged attacks. Someone with ~20 ping can fire normal attacks at the same speed (with a LLB) as someone with ~120 ping with AR (with a LLB). Give the ~20 ping'er a Short bow and you will notice that the short bow will fire faster than the LLB. --Zephyre 01:25, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

...lol.

I noticed on your user page, you said you played MapleStory..or maybe still do. DeityOfSouls seems like an insanely familiar name...what server did you play on? o_o--♫ѕταя♪ταιқ♪ 21:16, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

If I recall correctly, Broa. It's been so long though, I can't remember anything about that game. Zephyre 21:21, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
(yey for late responses :D) I'm still addicted to the emotes, so I still go around saying "F6" even in Mabi. Hah.. I've played Maple for so long, I doubt I'll ever forget it. But I quit, it's getting pretty stupid now. Even the level 200s are considered noobs now.. Whatevs. I played on the Mardia server. *waves from Mardia*--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 15:19, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

I hate chu....

Ok so I was trying your thing with the boy and the girl and the title and then I tryed it and F**K I just lost the game... WHY ME Q.Q

Gaby501119:20, 21 March 2011

I've seen Arachne use a skill similar to Ice_Hold where glowing threads shoot out from its hands and petrify the player. I saw the petrification symbol thingy and the person died shortly afterwards. It doesn't have any skill that might do that on the monster's page. If I had a screenshot i'd upload it but we were busy killing it before the person died, which he did anyway. I don't know why I posted this here but ya I dunno.
