Description

Peering out from behind his shabby old robe, that looks worn out as if by some powerful wind, his cool red eyes seem to twinkle like the scales of a fish just below the water. The slow, throbbing sound of his voice seems to reverberate hollowly in moist, dark air.

Yoff is what appears to be a docile Desert Ghost, but you need not worry, he has no intention of attacking anyone. He resides within the lobby of the Connous Battle Arena.

History

Falcon Quest

During the events of the Falcon Quest, Yoff slowly regains his memories and explains that he was a normal Elf subject to the curse of Irinid. He also remembers his true name, Phaselus.

Past (Spoilers)

Before he got cursed, he met Kelpie when he was lost and was guided back to Filia. However, it was only a matter of time before Irinid's curse afflicted him, and Phaselus started to forget everything and transformed into a Desert Ghost.

After Kelpie found out about this, his memory was erased by Castanea as a means of protecting him from the dark truth and despair.
