Description

Reminiscent of a black panther, the Bombay has a muscular body with jet black fur. And surprisingly enough, the Bombay is a rather warm and friendly cat despite its wild and ferocious looks.

A long time ago, the Bombay had been cultivated and bred by people who enjoy rare and precious things, through which the Bombay was selectively bred to have ebony fur and golden eyes. The Bombay, to this day, is a highly coveted animal in Erinn as a result.

For a cat, the Bombay is on the larger side, and its approachable personality is sometimes likened to that of a dog. Amongst other cats, however, the Bombay, with its confidence, charisma, strength and agility, can have the tendency to demoralize or bully other cats with its superior attitude.

The Bombay does not show any particular excellence in any single skill, but rather tends to have a balanced set of physical skills and boasts a high level of stamina as compared to other types of cats.

However, its most unique attribute has to be that, along with its dark fur, the Bombay is capable of transforming into a Dark Knight. It is not entirely clear just how the Bombay had learned to gather the powers of Darkness as such. It is perhaps that this cat is particularly good at becoming one with its owner, or that it is because its genetic pool had been born out of human desires, rather than natural selection processes.

In any case, if/whenever the owner of the Bombay transforms into a Dark Knight him/herself, the Bombay will share in the powers of Darkness, and transform as well. If the owner summons the Bombay while transformed into a Dark Knight, the Bombay will appear in the form of a Dark Knight, and turn back as soon as the owner's transformation is undone.

The Bombay's transformation skill can be used just once a day in Erinn time, just as it is for the owner of the cat.

The owner of the Bombay will find his/her Stamina and Critical Hit skills improving while the Bombay is summoned. Also, because the Bombay has excellent combat skills including high-ranking levels of Defense, Smash and Counterattack skills, the owner should see the benefits of having this pet in a very apparent way. The duality of the friendly, approachable personality and the powerful instinct to dominate everything around it, characterizes this extraordinary cat. Special Ability - Dark Knight Transformation

Once per Erinn day, when the Bombay is summoned while its master is transformed into a Dark Knight with Soul of Chaos, the Bombay will undergo a similar transformation.
- While transformed, the Bombay's appearance will change; it will wear a title identical to that of its master, and its stats will increase by 20% of the stat increase granted to the master by their own Dark Knight transformation skills.
  - This transformation directly increases the Bombay's Health, Mana, Stamina, Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, Injury, Critical, and Balance.
  - For example, if the Bombay's master has Rank 1 Body of Chaos and receives a 100% modifier for that skill, the master would gain 200 Strength, and the Bombay would then gain 40 Strength (200 * 0.2 = 40). If the master instead got the 180% modifier for Body of Chaos, the master would gain 360 Strength and the Bombay would gain 72 Strength.
  - The Bombay's transformation has the same appearance no matter which title it possesses. A Bombay with "the Dark Knight" title will look the same as one with "the Infra Black" title.
Take note that the Bombay does not actually possess Soul of Chaos or any other Dark Knight transformation skills. The transformation is solely tied to the Bombay's Special Ability.
- Because of this, you cannot transform while playing as the Bombay, and you cannot force the Bombay to transform while it is summoned other than through using Soul of Chaos yourself.
