Details
- The Camping Penalty reduces the amount of Experience you gain while hunting monsters in a field.
- This Penalty increases as you stay within the same area of one map.
- In order to decrease your Camping Penalty, you must move over to a different spot.
- Entering a Camp Kit will immediately reduce your Camping Penalty to 0%.
- In order to decrease your Camping Penalty, you must move over to a different spot.
- The Penalty gradually increases by 5%, but slaying another Monster not very far from your last kill will result in additional 10% Penalty.
- The maximum Camping Penalty is 50%.
- Camping Penalty only applies to fielded outdoor areas; it does not apply towards Dungeons, indoor Shadow Missions, or Theatre Missions.
- Outdoor Shadow Missions can still be affected, however.
- If you have bought Premium Service you will not receive a Camping Penalty and EXP is increased by 10%.
Camping Item Drop Penalty
- The Camping Item Drop Penalty is a separate penalty from the one above; instead of reducing EXP it reduces the Drop Rate of items.
- This Penalty increases as you stay within the same area of one map.
- You cannot decrease this Penalty by moving over to a different spot; this will only affect the speed at which this Penalty increases.
- Entering a Camp Kit does not affect this Penalty.

- This Penalty increases when you kill any overworld Monster and increases faster if you rapidly kill Monsters or kill Monsters in about the same area.
- When a player accumulates enough Camping Item Drop Penalty, the Drop Rate for items will become 0%.
- Camping Item Drop Penalty only decreases with the passage of real-world Time.
- Defeating Monsters with Bare Hands or with Weapons at 0 Durability will also have 0% Drop Rate.
- Items from Ingredient Hunting and Fynni Catching are not affected.
- When a player accumulates enough Camping Item Drop Penalty, the Drop Rate for items will become 0%.
- The Camping Item Drop Penalty is not shown in-game and players can only know if they are affected by it by noticing that they have a 0% Drop Rate for items.
- Monsters with 100% Drop Rate, such as the Giant Red-eyed Ornata Spider, are good to test if a player has 0% Drop Rate.
- Camping Penalty only applies to fielded outdoor areas; it does not apply towards Dungeons, indoor Shadow Missions, or Theatre Missions.
