When Bhafel's forces overwhelm the defending forces outside Shyllien Nature Reserve, the Magic Scholar prepares a tactical retreat via a teleportation portal. Once the defending forces have retreated back to Filia, the Magic Scholar thanks the Milletian for their aid, but their conversation is interrupted by Maike.
Cessair's Heart orders a spy Intelligence Officer to assassinate the Great Magic Scholar in the Shyllien Nature Reserve so they can replace him with a fake stand-in. The assassination attempt is successful due to the lack of security, and the fake Great Magic Scholar moves in. He reports to the other workers that he has "successfully" deciphered the Nature Reserve's ancient documents and presents the fake evidence which states: "...There is no doubt that Milletians turn into monsters as a result of their undying growth. In the end, Erinn will become the Land of the Milletians..." The others are shocked and immediately jump to various conclusions, but nevertheless leave to report this.
