A friend just got it from a Burgundy Dire Wolf (Hardmode) using an Alby Intermediate Fomor Pass for Two. If somebody could get a second confirmation so we could add it, that would be great ;)--Haven923 02:32, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
In the briefing it said to give the book to Aranwen. But in the Additional information, it said to talk to Aranwen, should this be changed? I was unsure what to do so I asked around because I didn't want to loose the book accidentally. I'm not sure about testing the Giving method either....
If it can cause confusion, yes, the sentence should be clarified. In this case, though, the "give the book to Aranwen" is straight out of the quest info, so that shouldn't be changed, but instead a note should be made in the same section explaining what to really do.
I'm fairly sure that completing the quest is all that's necessary though.
Ehh it sounds like you have an older quest of AR. older quests (That 2x2 scroll o.e....oh yeah that thing) made it so that you have to talk to her, then talk to her again after completion of the AR book. Unless it was updated to that old quest, then yes, it should be changed to match. Anyways, you must have the book in your inventory when all 10 pages are in it. After that, just talk to her and that part of the quest will be complete.
I've killed a decent amount of them, some during the recent double drop rate event, but no drop, so decided to investigate. Checked JP wiki [1] [2] but as mentioned by Zephyre on Saturos' talk page, there's no mention of it dropping. Google turns up various "can't get it to drop from Saturos" results. Checked AR and Saturos' edit history, and it looks like the info was added to Saturos in May 2009 by a user accused of adding false info. AR's article was updated in Jan 2010, possibly using Saturos' article as its source. Didn't find any discussion of those edits, or people saying that it does indeed drop from Saturos, so it looks to me there's not enough evidence to prove it drops from them.
Since my impression on wiki policy is that unreliable info shouldn't be on pages until confirmed, I'll remove it. Please do correct me if it should instead remain on page, with some sort of reliability disclaimer or something. ^^;
Can I also get a slight verification...? There seems to be an odd affect that occurs at random shots of AR. I'm not so sure if this is significant enough to take note of. It's like a puff of dust/smoke that seems to swirl around your feet. Not so sure if this gives any effect or boost to AR. And this has been happening since the recent patch.
The details of G14S5 have been released. Arrow Revolver and Mirage Missile get buffed while the ranged aim caps jump from 80/90/99(Human) and 84/92/99(Elf) to 90/95/100(All). I question the validity of the damage multiplier section of this chart. It doesn't match the JP wiki and neither wiki matches the information on DevCat's G14S5 update for rF Arrow Revolver. It's seems likely that the information posted here is incorrect. Can someone look into this?
