Advanced Weapon

after limited testing it seems like he adds an item to this section of his shop at midnight. can anyone confirm? also can someone check to see if one person buying the item is enough to prevent others from buying it? and if not, when the items will no longer be for sale?--Jacobpaige 08:55, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

After some more testing it appears that the contents of this section change every day at 12am and that there is only a chance of something appearing. Anyone know if this is random or if its a set pattern? i think its probably random since some channels had weapons when others did not. also chance appears to be minimal since an empty Advanced Weapon section was the most common result.--Jacobpaige 17:07, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Pickaxe failure

So I repair at Edern fairly often, he fails like once every 600+ points(with blessing on an empty channel, might be exaggerated). Anyways I've repaired up to 6 points per llb repairing up to 12 llbs at a time no failures. Just recently I started using a pickaxe(Spamming barri spirit) and after 6 runs in barri, I've lost 6 dura(The pick was blessed each time). Quite literally he fails at least once per repair on a pickaxe for me. Anybody else have this or am I just cursed to always loose my pickaxes? Ket 10:05, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

So, how are you supposed to be able to access Edern's Secret Part-Time Job to obtain the Raging Enchant?

Get Dan 3 Blacksmithing, equip the prefix title from that as well as the master of blacksmithing title. More details on secret part-times can be found here.

He's not giving his Secret PTJ though, only his regular one. Awaren and Meven don't give normal PTJs to interfere with this...

Edern has no secret ptj. The life skill secret ptj is del, or was it delen? One of those 2.

I was going to edit eventually, but I have no dan 3 life skill to confirm for myself.

So, I went to edern's part-time job on intermediate level and looks like the requests depend on the blacksmith level skill. With rank C I only got gloves requests and now with rank B I'm only getting boots requests and still on the same job level.

I'd like to have more people verify this.

It seems to be true. I have done blacksmith jobs until now, where I am advanced, and all the blueprints (other than when I was rank A and was in intermediate & etc) seemed to correspond with the rank of my blacksmithing.

I did Sickles and I get 10 iron ore fragments I do weeding hoes I get 10 iron ore fragments but sometimes i'd get 1 gold ore fragment

his rewards are probably randomized.
