Does anyone know how much fire wands increase fire based damage? Tsukuyomai 22:21, 5 May 2009 (PST)

if they do increase damage, it's by the amount displayed after attack. i'm not sure non-ego wands actualy affect damage, someone who tested it said on the wand table talk page that he didn't see a difference in damage, but that was back when wands first came out, and i never actualy checked that myself.--Sozen Cratos Focker 06:11, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

I need a confirmation on the actual success rate constant for repairing ego wands. The formula (Success Rate = 79 + (Prof x 0.3)) says it's 0.3, but the chart dusplays success rates based on 0.4. And since as the success rate constant goes up the amount repaired per dura decreases and the amount repaired per prof increases, I'd have to believe the chart is correct and success rate is based on a 0.4 constant. repair 93%

can someone please add it or tell me how to add it because at 93% it costs 3,668 gold

this thing is using the template for mele weapons, we need to make a new one for wands for things like this...--Sozen Cratos Focker 20:05, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Help Confirming

been wandering around and found some magic related calcs on the other region servers, i just need assistance confirming if they are in effect. input of persons that have either 0% magic balance or 100% magic balance would be greatly appreciated(icebolt and lightning bolt info needed). i am unable to determine if these are strictly ego or wand and ego;(note there are TWO DIFFERENT CLASSES of calcs).

Basic Magic Minimum Damage = Magic Min Dam+Additional Min Dam through Enchantments(adjusted for spell)+ Wand Min Damage(Current on firebolt r1 100% magic balance 21 str/21 soc ego, no enchants(863 skeletons and counting:|))

Basic Magic Maximum Damage = Magic Max Dam+Additional Max Dam through Enchantments(adjusted for spell)+ Wand Max Damage (Current on firebolt r1 100% magic balance 21 str/21 soc ego, no enchants(863 skeletons and counting:|))

Advanced? Magic Minimum Damage = Magic Min Dam + Additional Min Dam through Enchantments(adjusted for spell)+ Wand Min Dam/(100-STR Lv)

Advanced? Magic Maximum Damage = Magic Max Dam + Additional Max Dam through Enchantments(adjusted for spell)+ Wand Max Dam/(100-STR Lv)

Additional Min Damage Through Enchantments = Total Minimum Enchant Damage * (Magic Damage Adjust Value/ 2) Additional Max Damage Through Enchantments = Total Maximum Enchant Damage * (Magic Damage Adjust Value)

Magic Damage Adjust Value for;

Icebolt = 0.08		Icespear = 0.10
Firebolt = 0.40		Fireball = 0.50
Lightning = 0.44	Thunder = 0.50

upgrade sequence

i upgraded my wand for -5% mp useage, but no extra upgrades opened at Heulfryn's in quilla. does he only have those three, or do i have to pick a different upgrade first? - Lucian

See the 0~3 and 4~4 part under the UG# section? This means you can only get the 0~3 for the first 4 upgrades and 4~4 as the very last. You won't see the 4~4 upgrades until you've upgraded all the way up to 4th upgrade. You can do the same upgrade 4 times to get there or mix & match. Hope this makes sense. ---Angevon 23:48, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
OOOHHH ok i get it lols, thanks for the invo, much appreciated

jewel upgrades

are these upgrades available for wands yet? and if so, someone should remove the future content tag-- ladywinter ~{talk page}~ 17:54, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

I know they are implemented for the adv wands, but I'm not sure for the normal ones.--Saix7 18:57, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

Ego

I was told that the mp useage is that of 1 bolt for the +4 CC Ego version but when I use my ego firewand it isn't. Can someone clarify? --Caster~ 20:09, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

The point with ego wands is that there is no 'increased' mana usage. It uses the same amount of mana five seperate charges would. As opposed to the increased mana consumption you would get (at least +10%) with a normal +4 chaincast fire wand. In that sense, they use less mana, but they do not give you the additional charges for 'free'. --Hecate 10:28, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Fire Wand Grades

I don't know if this is the right place to be asking this, but does anyone know where a 15 durability fire wand comes from? For a long while I thought there was only one grade of fire wands which was the one with 10 durability, but I recently acquired a 15 durability fire wand, but have no idea where the person I bought it from got it. It should probably be added someone in here since I did notice the combat wand page has a listing of different grades and their stats. Blargel 23:00, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

15 Max dura Fire Wands come from Soldier Gachapon, sometimes enchanted with Fox and/or Trustworthy --DarkWyvern 18:12, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Magic damage

Does anyone know if spirit fire wands can increase magic damage, in addition to the initial +5 boost?

AKAAkira20:30, 5 August 2011

Where did you get +5 boost frm? :C

That one applies to only fire damage. In the Category: Wands page, it said fire wands give +5 to fire magic, ice wands give +10 to ice magic, and lightning wands give +7 to lightning magic. Maybe I should've phrased that sentence better...
But anyways, does anyone know if egos give any magic damage boost?
