Talk:Griffin
Name:
Griffin? This isn't Family Guy; the actual beast is a Gryphon. Is this a potential typo, or is this actually how it is spelled in a foreign game? Edit: I could be wrong; Wikipedia doesn't seem to be supporting me in any way. I could sweart it was always Gryphon. ~Rusty~
- Depends on how you want it spelled, either are acceptable. Just like judgement/judgment. ---Angevon 02:30, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I guess. I suppose I was wrong and jumped the gun anyways. I always knew it as Gryphon. I guess both are right; Harry Potter uses Gryffindor, a mixture of both words. We'll just have to see what Nexon America calls it. It's probably an American and British thing maybe; like Color and Colour. ~Rusty~
Skill
What's this roar you talkin about? What's it do, why isn't it in the skill list, and etc. If, as I assume is true, it is simply an effect like the bubble crabs bubbles, or singing/dancing, it shouldn't be called "special skill". In fact, even the bubble crab's bubble and spin cobweb are counted as skills, so that should be edited to be a bit clearer.Novaix 11:52, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- I have a feeling Roar is more of an aoe like stomp, or it could just cause mobs to flee, though I could be wrong. The Japanese wiki says only "Uses roar attack." though what exactly it does is not described, nor is it mentioned whether or not Griffin roar and Tiger roar are the same. Ket 15:33, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Is it just me or does the roar skill increase crit chance? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Duckwark (talk • contribs) . Please always sign your comments with the button or by typing ~~~~!
Incorrect speed?
It seems to be slower than Flying Star. I've raced my friend who had a griffin, and I seemed to beat her by a little. (Yes, it was a straight course.) --κєνıи (»тαıĸ«) 04:34, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Missing Sound
I don't know if its just me or anything, but my griffin doesn't seem to make a sound when it moves :| its just silent, I think it does it too while I'm flying. I bet it might just be me cuz I'm probably missing some instrument sounds too. Does anyone have a similar problem? --Marthian 18:58, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
