Talk:Kitchen Dungeon

From Mabinogi World Wiki

Is the cooking dungeon solo? I haven't tried to bring a friend along. --Dias 13:11, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Its solo T.T --Dias 13:27, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Requesting Name Change of the article to "Kitchen Dungeon". Not only does it sound better, it's what Nexon NA localized it as. Chop chop, I don't think I have the ability to change page titles. Fishman 21:41, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

But isn't it called "Cooking Dungeon" in Oversea Mabinogi servers???? SoraHikari 22:36, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
I think that's why he's asking to use the localized name. It only makes sense the NA wiki matches the NA servers.--Tricky B Bomb (Talk) 23:15, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Dungeon Mobs

Should we make a page for the food monsters? Wolven 13:13, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

Sewer Rats

I've got reason to believe that they deduct far more than 10-15 points each. :( My recipe was 1-2 off for each of the ingredients, and the time was perfect but I only got 3x points because of ONE sewer rat. This was for the Caviar Canape, so maybe different recipes have different degrees of leniency? :( Beepuke 23:40, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Sewer Rat and Silver Tableware multiple spawn

The note in the page about no more that 1 at a time is false, I have had 2 spawn at the same time on me before. It happened in a Chicken Gratin recipe. I will get picture proof next time it happens. Tripple rat spawn http://tinypic.com/r/2d2hse9/7 (Eveechan, Sept 27-2010)

Thank you for confirming this. I have removed the line from the page. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 22:44, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Going over the 'target' ingredients == lower scores?

I had a seafood fried rice dish done at 11:15 and got... 30 Vegetables 14 Spices 26 or so Seafood...

And i got 64 points?!?!

Dra6o0n18:16, 5 February 2012

I believe it's more of the time you got, that reduced your score the most. Though, going over does reduce your score a little.

I got 11:15 on the same recipe again, this time with less ingredients than usual. Yeah I think the time penalty isn't fixed, and is based on either a fixed percentage or a set percentage by recipe level.

When i hit that 15 second mark, i seem to get like a 10~15 point deduction.

Was like 24 seafood, 19 vegetables, and 14 spices.

With fruit juice, even if you attain like 3/4 of the ingredients you can still get over 60 points if you hit it at the minute mark or a few seconds later after the minute mark.

Based on what I played with in the kitchen dungeon... The rank is like a multiplier with the penalties somewhat...

If rF fruit juice is like 1~9 points or 0.1 to 0.9 points deduction at 15 seconds, then im guessing it's multiplied by 1?

Then again, at rank B which is 5 ranks from rank F, it would mean 0.1 x 5 which is 0.5 to 4.5 in penalty for 15 seconds... Which is too small based on my runs in this minigame.

I'm thinking there's some greater value per recipe... That I don't see.

But yeah the definite facts are:

- Penalties gets harsher as you play high ranked recipes.

- Not hitting the 'required' recipe and going over it results in penalty, and follows the above guideline for harshness.

Though I run kitchen dungeons alot, I've never really tested anything. Might try some more and see what I can find out. Thanks for sharing what you know.

Giant cookware tenderizing effect with melee skills

Does the protection reducing effect with giant cookware apply to:

smash(including splash?) windmill? charge?

Pyroblade19:15, 4 January 2012

As long as you hit the enemy with the knife equipped, it should reduce protection. However normal attack w/ knife is more efficient than wm just saiyan.

No one does this dungeon anymore...

Might be a neat idea if Nexon tells devcat to improve some of the old minigames like this feature so more players will take advantage of it...

Maybe connect it to G15 in some ways?

Well atm on hardmode, it's very hard to meet the quota on the recipes since the STUPID ai takes like 30 seconds to hit things...

So the main priority is improving the AI for the game so the chef will actually attempt to lower the ingredients defense so you can kill some and cause the silverware to spawn sooner.

Also, if you go elf and mirage all of them, you can notice that the npc WON'T aggro unless he gets hit, and somehow Mirage Missile causes those ingredients to ignore him.

Maybe best if kitchen dungeon gets reworked to this idea:

Ingredients, rats, and silverware spawn regardless of population at the start. Rats will only spawn after 1 minute has passed. So ingredients and if your lucky, a silverware will spawn really early, like 10~30 seconds into the dungeon.

Hotcake of Love rewards

it seems i got Delivery List 1 from the g11 recipe, i wasnt paying attention so im not sure what my score was the time i got it as a reward. this needs to be added to the list, but im not sure about the other values in the list --Shadofrak 15:59, 2 February 2011 (PST)

Shadofrak15:59, 2 February 2011

i redid the mission and passes this time yay :D but anyway it was 5-star at around 95pts and i got 3 of #1, so i expect that the other ones are just a progression downward/upward
