I have a friend that's curious if these can be dual-wielded (by Giants). Does anyone know if they can be?

They cannot, Giants can dual wield them like any other blunt, humans/elfs however cannot.

My bad, did not see it say "giants" o3o I will go sepukka now.

Does this mean Giants can do 8 hit combos with a possible 10 hit with N+1?

Is it really that hard to get a decent one? I've been getting really really low numbers...

Sadly, yes it is. It goes with any artisan...you may get really low stats quite a few times in a row. :(

Apparently my Physis Wooden Lance got semi-decent stats on the first try.

I guess I gotta keep rolling the die?

yeah. it's rather random and luck based. Either you get it, or you don't.

Well now that just hurts... *sob*

not related to this weapon, but it took me 9 tries for a full roll no -dex Battle sword...o.e after that i just gave up on artisans all together...

It's taken me way more than 9 ;-;. 9 is actually a pretty low amount of rerolls. D:

1 attempt to get an almost max artisan (-2 stats from everything) and 7 stones to get it to r5, yet Edern has failed 30/34 repairs in total on my previous 4 HLBs...QQ

How is it that the Mace's attack power and crit so drastic if its min damage does not change and the crit is only by 8% from 15%?

Artisan Upgrade?

A: They don't directly contribute.
B: Its random.

A: It's adding what they contribute to the stats.<br\> B: It says "Artisan Upgrade (Max Roll)".

I find that... misleading.

Its not like everyone's going to do all the calculations of what Str, Will, and Luck contribute.
