Strange fish

Can someone identify this strange brownish/gray fish File:Unknown fish.gif caught in Nekojima and im sure this is a tuna File:Tuna.gif but I don't know if its official. --Hikarixz 07:03, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

I [Think] nekojima is going to be released

I think that nekojima will be released in NA is because in npcinfo.xml, there are already translated english names for the npcs ~kotarou3 (talk) 22:11, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Devcat English names are on foreign servers too. NPC given items would necessitate the NPC's name in an item, so they have to name it in english first. Programming is much easier with english variables.--Hengsheng120·^TALK_CONTRIBS 03:40, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Well I've heard a few warnings from a few GMs that if the early actions of going to nekojima happens to much

When i looked through OST from korean mabi file, i found ost for nekojuma too. And if I am not mistakened, korea didnt have neko yet. or am i mistakened? i dont know about xml files though.Fallenone 21:21, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

So we're getting Nekojima as 'Heartbeat Island' or something like that? Event looks cute. I wish it wasn't just an event island, but a new content.

A: Nothing says NA will get it, KR does have it though.
B: The island itself is not an event, the cat eye stuff is an event.

As I said in the thread, this island is very different form Nekojima. It's not even the same terrain, just similar map shape. There is no dungeon here like in Nekojima, and Doki Doki Island has much more features than Nekojima did. The only thing in common is the fishing prize list and maybe the metallurgy prizes, though we have yet to find any gems at all from metallurgy.

Although it saids this doki doki island is a Nekojima.(Wing of Goddess shows this location as a Nekojima, Golden Rat Man announcement appears and the Nekojima Theme music can hear in the doki doki island.)

Yes..The map is slightly different, but it's based on the Nekojima for sure.(Possibly changed due to the issues with the Japanese culture.)

Well.. It's a Ctrl+C > Ctrl+V style. (Just like Neo Tokyo in JP MapleStory changed to Terra Forest in KR M.S. Which is more crappy.) Differences: No cats, no Nekojima Dungeon but sealed, no NPCs from Nekojima, several trees were replaced with the cherry blossom(?). etc

So what I'm hearing, everything is the same except almost everything.

Or as I like to say. Nekojima without the Nekos.

I know it won't release in North America, but has it released multiple times in Japan? Like, was it a one time thing or a reoccurring event? Also, how do you actually get there? If you need an item from the island to get there, then shouldn't it be impossible to access it even during the event?

User:Luin plays on JP and I asked him and he says it's always open. He doesn't quite remember how to get there initially but he thinks it was with a keyword.

Yep, you get a quest and a keyword from it. Use keyword on Shenan in Port Ceann and you can get there. You can buy a fixed Goddess Wing from an NPC there so you can make the return trip anytime afterwards.

I think he is referring to the FutureContent tag where it says, "Details may change before the release."
