You can buy materials... And then sell em for gold... And easiest list of seals to attain?
Because this shop would kill material costs every monday due to the influx of materials generated?
I mean 10x finest leather for 35 seals. Each one is worth a few grand of gold.
Personally, I feel that would just be a waste of seals at this moment in time. I'd think those training seals and puppet minis would be higher on people's list of things to get than materials. The materials aren't worth much in Tarlach server anyway. It's like 45k for a stack of finest leathers and like 90k per stack of finest silks and fabrics. Maybe if you're making some high level item, you'd buy the materials with seals, but there's not much point in making clothes and armors these days besides just ranking up, and training seals do the job better.
Although it seems decent to get materials to craft engineering and magic craft without needing to GATHER it from the field at all! If a person makes 10 seals per character per day, it's enough to farm a few hundred shylliens!
Now it takes time because some of these quests utilizes shadow missions, some commerce, and some are instant (give items), the list varies.
My take on the quickest listing of seal attempts:
Daily Shyllien and Hillwen - Why? Because at low engineering ranks it only tells you to make 5 of said items, and gives part time items. Very easy to do with a group of characters.
^Hunting Quests^ - Harder to do but at the same time gives a seal if it's easy hunts. Using parties with finish rules helps a lot.
Madoc - Hoard giant nails on every character or stored on a pet.
Manolin - Hoard striped marlin... Need a fishing character.
Belvast - Tomato Basil Salad and Vegetable Canape, hoard those on a pet.
Rano (temple ruins) - two of these are delivery requests.
All of those combined is already 10 seals, per character.
You could have Macaulay's handicraft job that gives 1 more seal but it varies based on handicraft rank per character. You could also include rafting and ballooning so long as it's 1 alt on the thing so the stars are split 50/50. Thats +2 seals there.
Forgot about the shylliens, but I'd rather just buy an already made staff for like 200k.You forgot about Red's Ralph white herbs and Alexina's ruin discovering. Gordon's cooking is also very easy. I make coq au vins since all the materials are right there, but there might be better options. I also check the commerce one, if its not make ducats it takes like 10 seconds to do.
Btw i notice that piece of info where seals are 'tradable' via bank tabs. This means those with 10 characters can do a simple thing, like giving nails to madoc, and immediately the account has +10 seals!
So basically all the quests i mentioned, if a player bothers to go on 10 characters to do it, is 100 seals a day! Gee within a month people with 20 characters can buy rapiers once per day or something?!
If you're crazy enough to make 15~25 seals per character, using 20 characters would result in 300~500 seals a day!
I'd do this if not for events and my own goals. There's only so much time in the day. Rather just get 17 or so on my main and maybe 6 or 7 on 1 alt.
Also if people does nothing but buy rainbow beam swords with that much, then the 90~180 weapons would be vastly common!
There needs to be separate pages for the Belvast and Dunbarton, or at least a gallery but it would be better to have separate pages. By the way, the Belvast version is Hurricane John and I do not remember the name of the Dunbarton one.
Its Ringo, the little guy right next to Hurricane John in the EMAC.
By the way, who's Ringo again? I remember John was one of the event promoters.
Ringo has been in various update videos of C2 and C3, and he's been in some cash shop updates of C4. I think he was advertized with commerce partner in some servers? Two of the most prominent things that comes to mine is the pioneers of iria and uncharted lands videos.
Should their names even be mentioned on the actual page descriptions? Ingame they aren't called that (the Seal Merchants that is). Even though they have the same character model it doesn't mean they're the same person eh?
Nope, the NA free-repeat (no crappy rewards like potions) saga system, daily saga system, and this daily quest system are all NA-only so far. Which leads me to think NA is doing badly or could have more active players. . .
NA 'exclusivity' is mainly to update the game more to the NA community's needs and wants, rather than to the KR market. NA players looks down on grinding more than KR players.
In any case, Nexon NA making the game 'easier' in a way and more interesting would garner more attention and revenues than disappointing people through grinding and cash shops.
It's much easier to hook addicted players and influence them to 'invest' in cash shops than to frustrate players to grind as a f2p in order to push them to use cash shop as a means of convenience.
Nexon has a tried and true style of appealing to as much players as possible, within reasons, to hook em, and then with a large quantity, to filter through a additional cash shop content, but not restricting the f2p players by any means to 'wait' for them to be ready to enter the cash shop filter. Other publishers tend to rush players into cash shops and scare them away from the entire game instead.
It's like catching fish with a wide net in an ocean, selling the big ones, but filtering the small fishes in a area so they 'grow', rather than throwing them back into the ocean.
Exactly, so what I'm predicting is, they're probably doing this because Mabinogi NA isn't doing so well. It is possible they're doing well and they just want to do better but I have a feeling something is making them need to.
Actually, Mabinogi NA is actually quite successful given the track record since it's release.
It's one of the many games where a lot of people come back to, given how there's loads of other MMOs that can't hold you for a week or month or year before their real intentions deter you away from it.
At best I play those MMOs for a month, at worst a day.
I don't spend NX on Mabinogi anymore, nor is there a need to, but I've already invested over $300 worth over the course of 3 years already, which to Nexon, means it's already successfully in getting my money. A few dozens of MMOs I played over the course of months gets zero in that case.
Why would you list what accesories this kid is wearing? You can't even see that through legit means.
You guys can remove it if you want, I don't really care. I just included it cause... it was equipped.
