Where's a good place to accomplish this?
Have you tried the Scary Library? Although, there may be too many in there to actually do any significant training.
I think they do, since they have normal ghost animations. But even if they did, they'd be one shotted and that won't help my training one bit.
I've been told Ghosts of Partholon don't count.
The maiz ghosts do work. I had to use the weakest knuckles, no upgrade and pot poison my will to 0 so it wouldn't one shot them.
Metus' Prison Ghosts also work well, to a certain extent. Reds due to their lack of Heavy Stander, yet Blue and Brown can't be killed, so you don't have to worry about losing a training target. Only problem with the Blue and Brown is that they can retaliate if their Heavy Stander triggers, but what's life without risk? ^^;
The ones on the pages for Spinning Uppercut, Somersault Kick, and Drop Kick. They're cute and all, but, no offense to SwissedToast (although I'm not too thrilled about seeing her on half the pages I see) they distract from the page's content.
Wouldn't it be better to have a short demonstration video? It would be less obtrusive, as well as significantly higher quality.
Stated in the effects of Rank 9. But it really means the rate is higher, am I correct?
But if that's supposedly true, then why does the summary say its increased at Rank 5?
No, it doesn't mean the rate is higher. It means exactly what it says. The debuff can hurt the enemies defense and protection more than before.
At r5 (and r1) the chance for it to happen is higher.
If Defense can block SU, then can it negate the debuff effect?
Would the debuffs stack if i were to freeze an enemy, nail it with a focus+uppercut+ switch to lance and start poking it?
Does anybody have a clue if this skill can give a monster less than 0 defense and/or protection so you'd be able to do even more damage to them? That'd be very interesting to know.
I would think so...I mean you can get negative MP....Negative HP (deadly status)...negative stats...so what no def/prot too?
There's a negative mp? But either way, that's totally different and I don't think it's a good example to be honest.
well...if you equip something that raises MP (like those Ladeca books), and use all of that and take it off, the MP is kinda....stuck :l so in a way, it's negative.
I would think it would be possible for negative defense to occur...better off being tested with players first though.
Yeah I think it might be possible, definitely. But also, yes, that's why I made this topic, hoping somebody with a high rank in the skill (to really see the benefits) could test it to be sure.
And on the same note, I wonder if 2 players (or even yourself if you have low enough cooldowns) could give the monster a double debuff. That'd be very interesting to know as well.
That actually sounds overpowered...besides, it would probably be like Party Heal's Defensive buff. Last caster will take priority.
The skill is already pretty ridiculous as is though...That might be right however, last person to use their skill gets the debuff on the monster. But you never know!
Plus lances' ability to ignore certain levels of defense and protection can result in a negative, so why not this as well?
It's confirmed lances can give monsters negative defense/protection? Oh right, it's on the lance page. Would it be so bad to simply copy that info and put it on this skill's page?
That is a lance this is a uppercut there clearly diffrences between the two. Copying and pasting is not that reliable. The two things are complete oppisites. Don't ya think the effects will be too?
I think they meant copy and pasting the part that talks about the negative defense and protection parts. The two things may be "opposites" in some ways, but the game mechanics they're following aren't.
Yes I think if it's confirmed lances do more damage because they ignore a set defense/protection (down to less than 0) then it's pretty safe to assume it does indeed do the same thing for the uppercut debuff.
