Good point - I think the post talked about how one version (or maybe both versions) are only Repairable during certain Summer months (June, July, August, maybe?). Other months the item will appear Irreparable.

Basically this is a really friggin weird item. So, until it's released again or more accurate info is available (like, dates), I'm fine with just ignoring this thing :D

If you saw or have a Straw Hat that says so .3. you may edit it. But make sure it's not gacha or whatever special.

Multiple versions. There's an 8 and a 10.

i have the older version from the summer event many years ago, didn't realize the newer versions only had 8

It should be noted in the obtained section, not the template itself. Template should be reserved for base stats only. Base stats is 10 for the first run and 8 for subsequent re-releases.

...After some checking, I found that there are 3 different straw hats wandering about...oh boy. two of them are 10 durability and one of them is 8...details below.

Actually, you're reading it incorrectly, Mikaya.

You're reading the IDs incorrectly. The first two you listed actually have the same ID.

There are technically 3 versions, but only 2 versions exist in a server at once.

The 2nd one has a locale setting, specified for "usa" (NA server), meaning if you were to obtain the same item in a foreign server, you would get the 1st version instead of the 2nd, and vice versa (if you obtain the same item in NA server, you would get the 2nd version instead of the first).

P.S. Normally, we would create a 2nd page (i.e. Straw Hat (Type 2)) for multiplicities.

well at least we'll know. Is there any way to prove that which straw hat is from where...? I haven't gotten a straw hat :s

I'm saying this by analysis and not actual facts. The page was made in 2012, saying it had 8 durability. The Aug 2013 Monster Urn gacha probably and most likely, because of the current gacha as well, gave the 8 dura ones. Dungeon collection event as well probably have 8 dura ones because of the time this was made, but I'm not too sure about that. Can't say much about the other events, the summer event in 2008 obviously gave out the 10 dura ones, even Kaminagi mentioned it.

Blegh This hat causes more trouble than anything I've ever seen.
