Is there a shout-out phrase that commands the Dragon to use Thunder Breath?

Thunderbreath! works for Thunder Dragon.

Firebreath! Should work for Fire Dragon, but instead it loads firebolt..

Reason: Fire! loads Firebolt i believe. Most pets dont have Thunder, and its not called Lightning breath :P

Thunder! doesn't make it load Thunder Breath.

You have to say Thunderbreath! or Thunder_breath!

Try Fire_breath! ?

I was going at the point that if you say Thunder_breath! it wont load Thunder because they don't have that skill xD

I don't really understand what that means... Is it something like Ice Spear?

It's sort of like a stronger version of Lightning Bolt, but it moves in a straight line, it does hit multiple targets if they are near the original target, and damage divides if it hit multiple targets. It is equivalent to Fire Breath in every other way excluding radius and charging speed. I'm not sure if it triggers Mana Deflector, yet. It does not hit the targets in multiple intervals like Thunder and cannot be charged more than once.

Edit: Oops, missed the thread title. Sorry, I'm not sure. But if I had to guess, I'd say it is how wide the attack is, meaning it will attack all monsters within that range.

there is a current bug where it doesnt trigger mana deflector but it is suppose to.

SoL... Its a thing that floats on your head. How can it hit anyone in its path since its not coming directly from you?

No, it already hits everything between you and the chosen target.

The linear radius means that it also hits targets 600u in both directions perpendicular to the vector of the attack along its length.

To put it how you did:

  y y y y

O->X is the length of the attack, z->y is 600

Edit: Or I might be interpreting it wrong and it's actually a radius of 600 from the point of impact (original target) that gets damaged too. Not entirely sure.

The last row being the measurement six-hundred and the first one being zero.

That doesn't make sense, because then there would be a specification of the angle somewhere too, I think..

This skill is counterintuitive in more than one way. Here's what we DO know:

• It fires a projectile at the selected target, which must be within 1500
• The projectile travels 2500 from its origin and hits all enemies along that line

I am fairly sure that the "linear radius" is the width of that line. Look at how Lance Charge works. You can hit enemies that are slightly to the side of your charging trajectory. Lance Charge has 1/3 the linear radius Thunder Breath does.

So you're saying its like this:

That's exactly what I'm saying. I don't have a good screenshot yet that illustrates being able to hit an enemy that's right in front of you but off to the side, but I do have one that demonstrates hitting an enemy far beyond your actual target.

It would not be so hard if there wasn't a 600s cooldown to deal with.

and sol page says "it functions similarly to Ice Spear, dealing light damage to the target and enemies on its linear path, then exploding to deal heavy damage on impact."

It visibly appears to (burst at the end, that is) but I have suspicion that this is merely a visual effect.

I've hit things that were far enough away from the line to my target to reasonably convince me of this, I just don't have any screenshots to demonstrate it yet.. argh.

Hopefully, as I continue training my dragon throughout the week, I'll be presented with a Kodak Moment(tm).

There's a pretty good estimate for this, actually. When you load the skill, dragon poises its wings threateningly. In that situation its wingspan approximates the width of the beam. For older dragons that might be closer to the length of the middle wingtips, and for Giants' dragons it might be closer to the inner ones, I haven't tested this yet.

Wingspan of age 1 dragon on human = pretty good estimate though.

Also this seems to have a delay of ~1.5s before firing; you can miss if your target walks behind you relative to where it was when you clicked to fire.

I wonder how it's going to be adjusted now...

I think it's for the ranking exploit.

A bug exists that lets you rank up the skill before you get the correct level. I have a Lv23 thunder dragon with Rank A Thunder Breath
