Animal Drop Rate?

Well, on wednesdays, you get bonus drop rate from animals and nature. What does that even mean?

Field hunting, or do they mean sheep sharing?

TNinja (talk)20:32, 3 September 2014

Probably from killing animal-related monsters? That's my best guess.

Infodude575 (talk)22:46, 3 September 2014

My best guess is improved drop rate for sheep shearing (animals) and mining (nature).

Shadow Mission during Baltane

Shadow mission is kind of different, if not a third entry of "map type".

Are Shadow Missions affected by Baltane?

TNinja (talk)20:33, 3 September 2014

What kind of differences are you noticing?

iDSd22:10, 3 September 2014

The conditions to clear the the missions, the way the monsters are spawn, and the missions also ahve their own weather tables. The missions are also not randomly generating room blocks. They act like a field. Yet, they're not quite a field map.

It feels like a third instance of map type.

TNinja (talk)06:22, 4 September 2014

No, those never change either.

Infodude575 (talk)10:55, 5 September 2014

Shadow Mission areas never change. If you're somehow in Tara Rath Castle while in a Taillteann mission, then that's a glitch. Once I was doing Saga Episode 1 with the Demonic Headless, I was in Shadow Taillteann's east pathway when I'm supposed to be in the center of Cor.

Port Cobh/Belvast/Port Quilla Boat Ride Times?

Is this affected by Mabi clock as well?

Wyse (talk)00:45, 9 July 2013

This is actually something that's been bugging me for a while now.

How do the boat times work? At a glance they seem random...

Doomsday31415 (talk)14:50, 9 July 2013

I'm pretty sure they're periodic, every x minutes. Though, I don't know if they're aligned with ingame clock times (like part time jobs) or every x minutes after server restart (like commerce restock/price changes).

Pyro - (Talk)14:58, 9 July 2013

Isn't it like every 3 minutes while docked and another 3 minutes for departure and arrival?

Holy Water "ticks"

I'm aware that some people have the ability to confirm this without a doubt, so I just want to make sure that

  • Items blessed with holy water decrease the normal amount at half the rate as opposed to half the amount at the normal rate.
  • Items blessed with holy flame decrease the normal amount at twice the rate as opposed to twice the amount at the normal rate.

Thanks!

Doomsday31415 (talk)21:59, 7 May 2013

I do believe that's how it is, yes. When talking about durability, the reference point should always be when the item is in its original form.

DANTE20XX (talk)22:17, 7 May 2013

Well, this is a question for people that have contacts with "the unholy vision". They're the only ones that can be 100% sure of this.

Doomsday31415 (talk)09:30, 8 May 2013

Technically, it would be possible to check this without any...coughfilecoughadjustmentscough in the c:\nexo*\mabi* area.

Since it's possible to stop durability loss by unequipping the item during the ticks, someone with a lot of free time could confirm or correct the tick rate through trial&error.

Sozen Cratos Focker (talk)19:05, 8 May 2013

And end up waiting forever if it turned out that it didn't change the rate of decay. You'd be unequipping it every tick and no dura would be lost.. and you'd be testing forever. Considering how long it takes for 1 dura loss through ticks in the first place, you wouldn't know if you weren't losing dura or it just lost very, very, very little.

That's why i said someone with a lot of free time. I'm not saying it should be done, I'm saying that it can be done, so whoever tests it doesn't really have to admit that they did it through "witchcraft" or whatever.

lol "unholy vision"...well I'll sit around and see what happens.

Well, what else am I supposed to call it? :P

Doomsday31415 (talk)12:52, 8 May 2013

Well from what I got, it's pretty consistent with what's currently on the wiki.

Awesome. Thanks!

"Offline" time?

?

Real-time makes more sense. Offline is kind of a misnomer.

Angevon (Talk)08:46, 7 August 2011

Done.
