Description
Erinn High School is one of the most prestigious institutions around, heralded for its diverse community of social clubs. To promote some of these student organizations and celebrate the arrival of spring, Caravan Joe is hosting a contest to see which club has the most devoted members.[1]

Details
- Log in to receive the The Great Balloonathon Collection Competition quest.
- Talk to Caravan Joe wearing a white Edern Wig northwest of Dunbarton Square to be warped to northeast of Qilla Base Camp.
- At the event area, the player can talk to a NPC club leader to join one of three clubs: the Kendo Club, the Music Club, or the Fomor Research Unit.
- After joining a club, the player may have a conversation with the NPC club members.
- Players may not leave a club.
- However, players will be forcibly removed from the club once the drawing occurs. They must then to choose one of the three clubs again to continue partaking in the event.
- During the event, Deflated Balloons drop from monsters or are acquired through Fishing.
- Balloons drop at a much higher rate from monsters whose Combat Power is higher than the player's, and vise versa.
- These balloons can be inflated and turned into a Full Balloon via the Inflate Balloon action, learned upon joining any club.
- The Full Balloon can either be worn as an Accessory or turned into the club leader.
- If turned in, the club leader will take all the balloons at once, including those in temporary inventory space or worn by the player.
- Once a balloon is turned in, a Club Certificate is rewarded.
- You may only have one Club Certificate at a time.
- A drawing is held at 2:00pm PDT100, 7:00pm PDT100, and 11:00pm PDT100. The club with the most Full Balloons wins, and all players in the winning club with a Club Certificate will receive the club's victory box and a Balloon Consolation Box while players in the losing clubs only receive a Balloon Consolation Box.
- The balloons are counted server-wide.
- A scrolling message appears ? minutes before the draw, announcing the number of minutes before the draw, and reappears after every minute. On the draw time, the scrolling message announces the winning club.
- The NPC club members and leader will periodically whisper the player, informing them how many balloons their club has, telling them to donate, or simply rooting for their club.
- The whispers differ when winning or losing.
- If players in a winning club are offline during the drawing, only a Balloon Consolation Box is given when they log back in.
- 15 minutes prior to the club drawing, the club with the least amounts of Full Balloons turned in is allowed to purchase a secret weapon, which adds 10 Full Balloons to their count. This can only be done once per day, per drawing.
- There are four to choose from, each club has a unique set of 4, all of which have the same function.
- 5 minutes prior to or after the club drawing, the club leaders will not accept Full Balloons.
