Adding a "Yes or No" Cater Box

Adding a "Yes or No" Cater Box

Hello,

I have noticed that the wiki has information regarding the NPC Resell Value, Method of Cooking, etc. However, There seems to not be a section on whether the dish can be catered or not. As some ingredients or dishes can not be catered. Would there be a possibility of this being implemented to the wiki, or would there be a reason for not doing so?

I am both suggesting and curious as to the reason why the wiki should or should not implement it. Hope to hear back from someone soon!

Catering has two requirements:

  • The food has a stack limit of 1 (cannot stack).
  • The food must have stats.

And correct me if I'm wrong but these requirements apply to every food. Given that, finding which foods are available for catering is pretty much a no-brainer.

The old Gacha Foods (And Event Foods) Don't work yet they fulfill both requirement, we had food items we can make but can't be catered even if they with the requirements.

You would be talking about the dishes made with Bluefin Tuna, Capelin, and Silk Snapper, yes? (Wonder if you can cater the dragon foods...) Either way, maybe just put a note on the page of each dish that isn't caterable instead of changing the stats table o3o

Changing stats table would me changing every food item template, which is way too much work. And yes those are what I was referring too, for your knowledge, Dragon Food is Caterable. Shoulda saved the screenshot after I did a few #Opened 400 Black Dragon Scrolls so had plenty of flesh.

Thanks for the reply everyone.

I was aware that catering had the requirements, however, I was uncertain if the foods that are not able to be catered are features, or as others are implying on this thread "not yet implemented."

At any rate, it makes sense to not create an extension to the table.

Again, thank you everyone for the reply. Much appreciated.
