A Request

This might be a large request, but could you possibly update the project mimic templates to the G17 UI?

Pyro - (Talk)03:00, 10 July 2013

Unfortunately, I can't because I no longer have access to Mediawiki:Common.css, which I would require to skin. I could ask User:Angevon to make the necessary changes, but there'd be a lot of change requests before I get it right.

Also, are the Wand damage information for Elven Magic Missile in data? If so, can you help?

Pyro - (Talk)00:58, 22 July 2013

I also wonder if the Demigod skills are even in the data too...

Infodude575 (talk)01:04, 22 July 2013

I'm not even sure where the "Bow Damage" values came from. Nothing seems to match any of the information in the files.

There is however "Ranged Attack Damage" and "Magic Damage". I'm guessing Ranged Attack Damage would be that of the bow damage, and Magic Damage would be that of wand damage, but the Ranged Attack Damage bears no resemblance to the current data we have of Bow Damage.

There also doesn't seem to be a min or max value for either of these vars. Just a single decimal value.

I'm guessing if the data in the client is correct, both vars are percents of base damage, seeing as how "Ranged Attack Damage" goes from 0.8 at rank F to 3.0 at rank 1 (80% of damage to 300% of damage). But this means that wand damage stays a constant 10% of your damage at all ranks (it's constant 0.1 from F to 1).

There are also a bunch of other unnamed vars that probably mean something, too. As for what, I have no clue.

History shows Angevon did so several years ago. [1]

Chances are she just got them off another wiki. Not sure though.

Yeah, it's from JP wiki. Looks like after all this time they still don't have the wand details. Obviously I don't know where they got the numbers from, either.

Is there a KR wiki, or any other wiki?

Infodude575 (talk)15:12, 22 July 2013

There's a defuncted one and there's this gameabout one that sorta resembles a wiki.

Uh, I don't think EMM is JUST for Bows? Can't Crossbows use it too?

Infodude575 (talk)01:15, 22 July 2013

oh no........................................................................................................................................

A crossbow is a weapon consisting of a bow mounted on a stock that shoots projectiles, often called bolts or quarrels.

—Wikipedia

Well technically it is kind of true.

Infodude575 (talk)09:22, 22 July 2013

Thank you for copying and pasting the same thing I took an image of and telling me it is true.

Uh you're welcome? Derp :P

Infodude575 (talk)15:32, 22 July 2013

If crossbows were made before Elven Magic Missile, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't included, but they were made before any differences were distinguished between Bows and Crossbows so they probably are included. That being said, you can't Elven Magic Missile with a staff, only wands and archery weapons.

Pyro - (Talk)04:51, 22 July 2013

I'm pretty sure they were made in the beginning of time.

Infodude575 (talk)09:23, 22 July 2013

Yep, I wasn't questioning that?

Pyro - (Talk)09:51, 22 July 2013

I no longer understand how the weapons template works. . . Can you help me add a success rate need category? If a data page has "SkillRank" but is missing parameters like "SuccessRate_r9" or it says ?, make it broadcast a category such as "Category:NeedSuccess Rates" through the use of the items' page. It would also need to be done with other item templates but if you do one I should be able to figure the rest out. Also, if lets say "SkillRank=9", make any success rate under 9 not trigger the need category.

Pyro - (Talk)02:45, 28 July 2013

I don't see what that has to do with the weapon template specifically, but anyway...

It has nothing to do with it, it's just convenient because the weapons template will only be used on the items corresponding pages. Sorry if it's too much trouble.

The reason parameter of Template:Delete doesn't seem to show up for me no matter how I format it. (Also, still haven't touched the production rates thing, I'll get to it soon, sorry.)

Since this is a request thread...do something about engineering repairs.

まそっぷ ! (talk)16:18, 17 August 2013

Edit: Wrong thread, sorry for bumping.

Pyro - (Talk)22:52, 18 August 2013

Pyrus...or anyone for the matter. Well, can't move the Shyllien central map but the others and Black Mask's npc image yeah :x

まそっぷ ! (talk)12:06, 8 September 2013

I uploaded the Black Mask image and File:Black Mask Unhooded.png but I'm not sure what to do with this one. Don't put it in plain sight or that might be a spoiler.

Pyro - (Talk)13:48, 8 September 2013

I was going to say that! How dare you ninja me!

Put it in the spoiler tags.

Infodude575 (talk)13:54, 8 September 2013

Oh, well, sorry. Gonna dip into the NA files in a sec to find the shyllien maps.

Pyro - (Talk)13:55, 8 September 2013

Well now we need to figure out which one we should keep.
