Someone explain to me how we make gifs, from mabi. on o

Briefly discussed here.

Because I am too lazy to go out and update my photoshop to CS# (I am using CS2), I have access to imageready. I believe updated photoshop has imageready integated. You can also use outside programs, though you risk losing quality.

Now I got lucky with this.:

I took the darkest frame, and the brighest frame, and tweened them together, putting the brightest frame on top. then just saved optimized as and made a gif that looks liek it pulsates. I had to turn on the second layer to make it appear it pulsates, but ehh I just got lucky. How complicated a gif are you making?

Whatever I'm using makes it lose it's transparency. So if someone could add that, that would be nice .3.

I did. .3. But once I turned those images into a gif, it decided not to keep it's transparency.

Good enough! Gifs are hard...

Don't worry, I'm in the progress of trying to make giffing life easier. Let's hope it works.

Giffing easier o-e? it's never easy...that timing.

I think when she means by timing, trying to make the animation as equal as the original. .3. When I was making the dye gif, I was staring at the in-game dye and the gif dye for too long till I decided it was all okay.

I just use a website to add transparency. To make the actual gif I use a gif editing thing.

What are you using to make gifs then o-o;

I use Paint.Net to crop and clean all those frames.

Then I found that website and since all my gifs have white backgrounds, I can easily add transparency.
