From Mabinogi World Wiki

W-I-P and Heavily opinionated

Tir Chonaill

  • Most routes to here sell well (excluding neighboring Tailteann and the centered Dunbarton).
  • Goods are easy to carry for backpackers and handcarts. Wagons work especially well at carting many low level goods at once.
  • Baby potions and Diet potions are heavily affected by even minor changes in prices, due to the high volume of goods carried. A 1-ducat price-shift is worth 800 ducats when carting Diets on a wagon.
  • Excellent limited item, sells for 20-30k, however it is very difficult to obtain a full load as a few players with elephants can easily buy out the entire stock.

Dunbarton

  • The geographic and social center of most of old Uladh, Dunbarton unfortunately is a below average place to commerce from. Trade goods are weighty, low stack size, and usually do not sell very well due to being close to most cities. The high traffic coming through Dunbarton also means that goods probably won't sell well due to many people stopping at Dunbarton to unload goods. There are some exceptions; sometimes Dunbarton prices will fluctuate to be better than unloading at Cobh, for example. All in all, you're better off avoiding Dunbarton goods on your trade route stops.

Cobh

Not a very popular trading post, works well in your favor. Goods stack reasonably well, except for jellyfish. Weight is a little heavier than tir goods but not too heavy. You can usually sell Cobh goods for a decent price to as close as emain, netting around 3-4k ducats for a short trip. Good for making a quick buck if you have a wagon. It's out-of-the-way location also makes it a good place to sell goods.

Belvast

Goods do not sell well, waiting for boat is a pain. Neccesary to trade Belvast goods for g15 however. Usually offers very high prices for incoming trade goods due to distance.

Bangor

If you have an elephant, you'll make good money carting Bangor goods. Nuff said.

  • Coal should be avoided in favor of marble.
  • Bangor is generally unpopular a trade stop due to the heavy weight of goods and their base value. Thus Bangor to Emain usually has decent profit.
    • Most routes to here sell well.
  • Highlander daily smuggler runs usually net around ~36k base ducats, not including daily ducat bonus, with around 400k exp.
  • Lead is a disappointing limited item, can be used as a low risk highlander ore.

Tailteann

Crystals stack very well, limited item sells high when you can get it, usually about 10-16k. Large map makes it kinda long to get to the trade post.

  • Heavy concentration of bandits around farmland near Abb neagh entrance. Use caution when traveling through the farms.

Tara

Takes horrendously long to load on a low-end computer, however Tara goods offer the highest profit possible when merchant lvl is raised. However, the high worth of the goods make it susceptible to tough bandits and also hurts more when d/cing. Your High risk/high reward city of choice.

  • Tea tables and rocking chairs are efficient on wagons, 6-8k per run usually.
  • Bunk beds on elephant is very high risk load that guarantees master bandits past tara but usually nets 12-16k profit at tir/cobh.
  • Limited item has less item value while maintaining decent profit, anywhere from 8-15k, making for safer trips.

TL;DR

  • 1. Grind up merch level at Tir/Tara/Tail
  • 2. Get access to lovely pots
  • 3. Camp that s**t all day.
  • 4. ???
  • 5. Profit
