bags not on the page https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Kaban_Bag_(8x8) https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Kyururu_Bag_(8x8)
and the sunflower decorated bag from https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Sunflower_Event
though, it looks like we need a new category for bags (medium size, limit 1)
If you wanted to add them yourself, I would describe them as "Extra Large Item Bags". The names for bag types are mostly arbitrary on this page; the only reason medium bags are named as such is because the game's first examples were both named as such.
The list is also missing bags like the Welcome Back Bag and at least two types of Drawstring Pouches.
It would be better, moving towards semantification, if we categorized them more logically.
Regular Bags -> Medium/Beginner/Eirawen/RM Welcome Back, Doll Bags[can easily be its own category], Exclusive Resource (Regular) Item Shop Bags -> (no subcategories, unless we account for Kiosks here) Unique Bags - > Carasek/Black/Star, Birman, Improved Birman, Exclusive Resource (Unique) Resource Bags -> Gold Pouches, Check Folios, Cobweb/Leather/Etc. Pouches, Quiver
There's no point in really editing the page right now though to reflect this, so long as it remains updated.
in that sense, I'd be inclined to include them as Unique Bags since you can only hold one at at time hm?
Yeah, but the closest facsimile as the page stands is Extra Large Item Bags (since they are all bags that you can only have one of).
I like all of this talk. If someone could come up with a nice semantic editor for the bags, that would be awesome.
that it would be, unfortunately my skills with the code language on this wiki are pretty weak. I'm mostly limited to stealing the format from a different page and swapping out the values and pictures
from the Ornate Glass Box gachapon needs to be added... somewhere... just a note for anyone who has it o_O;
I noticed that this one wasn't on the list, but it would only apply to those who haven't played in a very long while (I stopped around end of 2014 and picked it back up recently). This one, along with the RM unicorn, comes from a series of quests for players who have not playing in a while and give them a headstart/refresher course as to what changed. Inventory icon looks like a medium-sized bag and very gray.
It must be the 2x3 bag in the inventory that looks like a squished image of the other ones you can buy in the general shop. I've never seen any bag that has a 15x15 storage space, and this was taken from a youtube video posted in August 2012. http://i.imgur.com/vZuubBA.jpg
Link to the youtube video?
By the sounds of it, it's just a clip from someone elses stream perhaps. The person commenting doesn't appear to be the player in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCK6oBufMA4
Looking at the account as a whole, there's a few things that are clear immediately:
- Antiwinning, the character in the video, is one of many characters by the poster of the video.
- Antiwinning uses mods and/or hacks, evidenced by the two previous videos.
Also, apparently people are breaking more than just bag size: count too.
Has this really been implemented...?
I've been hunting around for it for a while since that last post [February], but I still have yet to see its existence... Starting to think that this hasn't been implemented yet, unless someone can prove to me otherwise...
I used to periodically search player shops for these. I don't think I've ever actually seen one, even when a bunch of people sold off their old pouches when alpacas came out.
This has been causing lots of confusion between people I've been talking to about item bags. Since the free inventory plus service was announced. Because how the three services offered are being labeled as: "VIP Service" "Premium Service" and "Inventory Plus Service". Do we need premium service to use the bags or did we need "Inventory Plus Service". Is this just all an labeling error? Since inventory plus functions were included during the G9 version of Premium Service.
PS: I am saying this in regard to the wiki pages not the item's ingame description.
Now that you mention it, the wiki clearly says that you need "Premium Service" (not inventory plus) to use the bags.
Which runs contrary to what the forums have been saying recently...
Best way to find out? Wait until tomorrow, when everyone's free VIP runs out.
The thing is some of the Bags clearly state that you need Inventory Plus service to be able to use the bag, such as Eirawen's Bag and Medium-sized Bag. The older personal shop bags say Extra Storage Service but that's the old version and Nexon didn't update the description. As Doomsday said we'll wait to see what's useable and what's not.
