Possible typo?

Fragment of a discussion from Talk:Talent

If it was a mistake. They would have caught it on the test servers on the first go. Instead they let it linger for a bit like the talents not giving level up stats.

Aubog007 (talk)02:37, 6 October 2012

Just like they catch every single mistake and bug in the game when a patch is released?

They're human. Mistakes and oversights happen.

Kave Johnson (talk)18:02, 6 October 2012

It's what a test server is for. Lots of people made mention on their forums about this, their explanation was that archers use strength to drawback the bow. Or so i was told. But they had 2 weeks for people to tell them this.

Aubog007 (talk)05:50, 7 October 2012

Having a test server does not mean that all issues will be found and eliminated while being tested.

And really, I think that might be someone else's interpretation of why it fits (which it still doesn't) and justification and not DevCats. I've seen many a fanboy defend bugs and glitches in many a forum.

Kave Johnson (talk)10:33, 7 October 2012

Well an obvious error is an obvious error. Unless they Ferghused.

Aubog007 (talk)05:53, 10 October 2012

It was an obvious mistake. That is why they fixed it within two months. ^^

Kave Johnson (talk)14:52, 10 October 2012

Not to sound rude, but they do fix obvious mistakes in the test server WAY sooner than that. My point is, there is no evidence that this is or isn't a glitch. All of your arguments for it being a glitched can be used to argue that it's not a glitch. So can we please stop talking about this and just wait for it to reach NA?

"Note: At the moment, Wind Alchemy is not affected by either alchemical talent."

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

DevCat sure catches every issue with that test server of theirs.

I'd love to stop talking about it, but you guys can't accept that DevCat made a mistake. :P

Kave Johnson (talk)16:27, 11 October 2012

That actually was fixed in third testing. I don't know why nobody removed it. Even so, that doesn't exactly support your argument or not.

Pyro - (Talk)19:12, 11 October 2012

It does not need to support my argument, as it contradicts your "DevCat is perfect, everything they do is intentional" argument.

D

Speaking of testing, are you insinuating that they didn't test the fixing of the Ranger bonus?

Kave Johnson (talk)23:06, 12 October 2012

It already reached NA in 121 client, the status bonus is STR and noted as a bug.

Even so, it probably won't change to DEX until g17s3 just like the 550% human smash bug (that people also claimed was intentional even though it was officially declared a bug that went unnoticed past several testing and live stages) didn't get fixed until g17 files.
