After Generation 3, in the Dark Knight Quest, the Black Wizard will help the player become a Dark Knight.
At first, he meets the Milletian in Albey who has acquired all five pieces of the Dark Knight's Armor. He mentions that he originally came to take back the pieces of the Dark Knight's armor, a Fomor's belongings, but chooses to give it to them due to their desire of acquiring it. He then tells them to equip the armor, followed by a beckoning voice from the armor. The Wizard continues urging the Milletian to equip the armor, as they will become much stronger after slaying those who follow Morrighan, however the Milletian is hesitant. The Wizard then asks if they would like to experience the power of a Dark Knight before finalizing their choice. He also mentions that they do not need the armor they current possess, as he plenty. "...But the choice is yours." says the Wizard before he walks away.
After experiencing the power of the Dark Knight, the Milletian can choose to become a Dark Knight or remain a Paladin. Heading back to Albey, the Black Wizard asks two choices: Become a Dark Knight or Still undecided. However once the choice is made, there is no turning back, and he will not ask for a confirmation, as "that's how decisions work."
If the Milletian chooses to become a Dark Knight, the Wizard will cast a spell and infuse the Milletian with the essence of chaos, thus becoming a Dark Knight.
If undecided is chosen, the Milletian will simply leave and remain a Paladin.
