Marcan appears alongside Brilluen and Pennar in the Taillteann Graveyard after the Milletian discovers a corpse with a glowing, golden aura. Marcan suggests not to let the Milletian go after having seen the corpse. After Pennar expresses support toward's Marcan's idea, Brilluen grants them the permission to fight the Milletian. However, Avelin and Altam suddenly appear at the scene, causing the Prophets to take their leave.
Sometime later, it is revealed that Marcan had been hiding behind a barrier set in the Qilla Base Camp to control an Apostle-like creature and attack the Arthuan Unit and the Milletian. Talvish discovers Marcan and attacks him, causing the ogre to lose his focus. When Marcan is asked if the other Prophets forced him into doing their bidding by Talvish, Marcan does not answer. Instead, he insults the knights and escapes.
Marcan and Brilluen appear when the Alban Knights uncover the hidden Arthuan Altar in Lunae Valley. The Prophets successfully steal the shard, with Marcan informing Brilluen that they must leave due to the knights' arrival. The Prophets then unleash Zebach onto the knights before they depart with the stolen shard.
Eventually, Marcan arrives in Port Ceann, where the Heruin Altar is discovered, to send Zebach after the knights. Marcan's actions allow Brilluen and Pennar to escape a trap that had been set. The Prophets then make their leave accordingly.
Sometime later, the Prophets appear at Port Ceann once more, but do not seem eager to fight. The knights hesitate, but quickly find themselves caught in a trap set by the Prophets. The Prophets are then able to retrieve the Heruin Shard and once again escape.
Much later, the Prophets are revealed to be within the ruins of the Alban Knights before the knights arrive. Marcan points out that Mother Ladeca will soon come, causing the knights to struggle to regain their composure. The Prophets then unleash Zebach onto the knights, this time in its final form.
After Zebach is defeated, the Prophets are found at the Avalon Gate by Talvish and the Milletian. The Prophets then raise the shards they successfully managed to steal from the Alban Knights to open the gate. Once Marcan indicates that the door will soon close, the Prophets pass beyond the gate.
