Anyone know the price of the robes shown in this section? --Zaros 03:49, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'll be sure to make a chart/graph/table/whatever you want when its out!!!~~!@! --Kevin (»Talk«) 03:51, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- 49700g last I checked. They are all the same except the colours vary. --03:16, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Time
'When you Log on a character with a Rank 1 Skill during the time when the Advancement Arena is open, you will receive a quest from the Advancement Arena Helper NPC.' Anyone know what time that is, or is it randomised? --Zaros 16:12, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- If it's the same as the other servers, it'll open at 5pm PST. --Berkt 16:24, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- I just got the quest....just like two minutes ago.BladeBlade 01:44, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
De-ranking
The NPC said something about losing your dan. Does anyone have clearer information on this matter?Novaix 03:05, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Good question. I'd like to know before I spend the 7 AP. If you click on "clue" in the skill pane under the Dan section, it mentions something about loosing exp after 4 weeks.... equivalent to what is gained during a test. The text under the "Clue" section seems to contradict itself however at the end saying you can't loose dan levels... --Skynet 03:16, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
You need to get exp, like skill training, by passing the test which gives 100 pts for Dan 1, i would assume that means that after you pass the test you have 4 weeks to use the ap to rank it up, or else you will have to take the test again. It also says you will lose as much as one training session, so im assuming later dan ranks will take more completed tests, but if you beat it 3 times, in 4 weeks your count will go to 2, but once at 0 you wont go down a dan. Albeir 08:56 , 20 July 2009
- Quote the in-game info box: "If your Dan exp reaches 0 for the current dan, no more points will be lost; you will not be demoted to a lower dan." So no worries about wasting AP, dan ranks are permanent once you earn them :D--Qaccy 04:58, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Dan without Master Title?
How exactly does this work, if anyone knows? From what I've seen the Dan adds a prefix to the original title, but what if you don't have the original title? Would you only be able to use the prefix-variant of the title, or would you be unable to use either (since getting the first Dan replaces the master title gauge) and pretty much mess up your character without using a skill reset? (assuming there's no other way to de-rank the Dan skill, that is) -Duet 07:35, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- You don't lose your Master Title gauge. If you look at your R1 skill panes, you will see a second gauge section underneath. They are independant. The first (regular) gauge gets you the master title, the second (Dan) gauge gets you a prefix title. The title change screen should have a new section for prefix titles that can be applied to their respective master titles. Obviously, the prefix title can't be applied without the respective master title... I'll amend this in the wiki. --Skynet 12:38, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- This is what I had thought but several people seem adamant that you can't get your master title if you get a dan before getting the title. Is there any concrete proof as to this? Apparently what you can do is just get the dan and then use a skill derank capsule but the idea of having them seperate still makes more sense to me... anyone wanna try it out?--Mystickskye 14:22, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- One of my characters has Dan 1 for his Icebolt, without having the master title. The bar showing level progress is exactly the same as before I had Dan; Dan does not affect the meter. As another example, another of my characters is Dan 1 Master of Smash; His trainig meter is full, despite him being 0% to Dan 2. I hope this clears things up a bit. BladeBlade 03:21, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- Bolstered by Blade's words I went ahead and advanced to dan 1 without getting a master title for Windmill. After hitting dan 1 I can still get training exp for my master title so I'm wondering why so many people insist that getting dans before master title locks out your master title... guess we'll really see once I complete the rank 1 training.--Mystickskye 06:39, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Calender
I suggest we implement a method of keeping track and informing when the next advancment test session will take place in real time (as opposed to just saying every 5 days). Any suggestions? --Skynet 12:55, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- It's not exactly every 5 days, is it? It's every 5th day of the month, like the wiki says. In other words, since July is 31 days long, there'll be a 6 day period between the last test period of the month (30th) and the first test period of the next (August 5th). At least, that's how I read it. After all, how else were we able to "predict" when the tests were available before the first one even happened?--Qaccy 15:46, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Glitched?
My friend has the wise icebolt master title, but when equipted it is ______ The Wise The master of Icebolt.--Zaros 16:37, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- It's just another nexon failed at translation thing. --Kevin (»Talk«) 19:00, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Nexon must not have english speaking people working for them then. --Zaros 01:51, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- The Nexon America team ofcourse have english speaking people. But the translators are more than likely Korean. The sad thing is that they never have the time or patience to do a quick run-through check with someone who does speak English as their first language. My guess is that it is apart of the contract that Nexon(KR) have to translate the game into english and then hand it over to NA, and Nexon America does not hold the right to change it...??

Furious Infrablack
I was rabbie arena'ing and i saw some one with ________ the Furious Infrablack. Soon after, they were killed and I noticed that they had the Furious Master of Combat title on. Is the game glitched and accidentally puts Furious infront of Infrablack, or does Infrablack, Champion, Falcon Sage and Beast Lord have dans also?
- It might be a title glitch like being transformed when you divorce your spouse. I'll test the theory out later. I have 1st Dan Smash, but a Chaos Knight.--Tricky B 08:07, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- This appears to be a glitch where a player's Dan rank title prefix carries over to any temporary title they take on while wearing a Dan title. Recently, I saw a player with ________ the Furious the Clothing Shop Part-timer. When their part-time job ended, they were the Furious the Master of Range.--RaccoonGoon 22:26, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Outside Equipment in the Arena?
I was talking the combat mastery first dan today and I witnessed someone dual-wielding and another person using a shield during the test. I though you could only use the items they gave you for the test? Which in my case was just a uniform and a Gladius. Can anyone shed any light on this?--Vergel
- I was watching a friend of mine do a pair of tests (1st dan Lightning, 2nd dan Defense) and I witnessed a Kite Shield drop during Defense and a Broad Sword drop during Lightning. I remember the Broad Sword was marked with (for Advancement Arena) or something along those lines while it was on the ground, but I didn't get a good look at the kite shield (since I wasn't controlling camera). I'm certain I've also seen Fine Handmade Arrows which might apply for the Ranged Dans, both in the pair I watched and a Windmill I did on the 20th. Has anyone else noticed these drops at all, since this might explain where the equipment came from? --Duet 02:54, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- I saw a Broad Sword drop from a Knoll, Kite Shields dropped from.... something, Banner Imps drop potions of various kinds, something else dropped Fine Handmade Arrows and I also saw Lightning Wands drop at some point. I've only ever done the WM Advancement test and iirc the monsters that appear in that are Red Kobolds, Red Spike Lags (Sickle? Not sure, they were bright red and milled), Knolls (doberman type), Banner Imps, Green Gremlins and Trolls. Bug Bears and Giant Worms also appear though that's more situational as written on the page.--Mystickskye 06:24, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Mastery
Ummm I tried signing up for an advancement test for ranged but it won't let me. I have r1 ranged so it should let me sign up for the test, right? D:
Bonus Points
Ok, Ive taken a few Windmill dan exams, and sometimes I get a message saying "1000 Bonus Points!" after I Windmill certain things. Only thing I can remember for sure was the Giant Worm but I know it happened on another creature too. Can anyone maybe provide more information or details on this? It would be very helpful knowing about bonus points going into an exam.
- Sahagin + Bombing other crap = 1k per monster. F'in leet. --κєνıи (»тαıĸ«) 18:00, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Just out of curiosity, will using final hit on the combat mastery test get you points? --The lazy pixil 03:38, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- I've noticed that some skills are missing during tests - for instance, I distinctly noticed a lack of Combat Mastery and Critical Hit during the Defense test - I'm not sure about other tests but it probably follows that other skills (likely the race-specific ones and advanced magic) would also not be available during tests. That said, if someone has done the Combat Mastery test, feel free to correct me regarding it. --Duet 05:40, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- I have all my combat skills (minus fh) and all my magic (including adv) for the icebolt test, although I'm the only one to use windmill in it >.< Nandattebayo 22:33, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

When does Dan 4 - 7 come out? - A Random User 23:39, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Deranking the dan test?
so, uh i was applying for dan2 test, then when the time ran out, it said something like there are not enough particaptions for the test, so it said would you like to join the dan1 test? i clicked yes, and i won, and it counted for the dan training, should someone add this to the dan test page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by James534 (talk • contribs) . - I got that message too but it seems it only happens if you are the only applicant and the message only appears once, once you cancel t you don´t get it again. But I would like to know how you get that message, any one knows? Dmazura 19:05, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- You get it when there are two people in the lower dan, and you're the only one in your current dan. So it will ask you if you want to participate in the lower dan. We do this when deliberately losing to rank up others so we can do higher dan ranks (as crazy as this sounds.) KisaiTenshi 21:26, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Combat mastery question
Is the dan 1 title Furious or Fierce? The article uses both. --- Angevon (Talk) 22:55, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

What does Dan even stand for
Is it the name of the person or is it an acronym?--GravityKirby 18:03, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Dan test weapons?
Does anyone know what weapons you're given to start with for dan tests? For ranged dan i think i had a short bow, and was having trouble handling it. ~ Aeril 18:14, 26 January 2010 (UTC) For melee Dans you're given a Gladius, I think it was called "Gladius for Advancement Test" probably identical to a normal Gladius and so on and so on. --\(°∀°)/ 18:15, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Secret Part Time Job
The existing Secret PTJ setup on this page is poorly organized, mainly the Discounts and Secret Shops Secret Part-time Job headers are redundant with the "NPC" column beside the test. These NPC's do not appear for the combat or magic tests at all, so whatever the table was copied from has lost something in the translation. I believe they should have "NPC that gives a discount" and "NPC for secret PTJ" columns, which would remove the need for duplicating information in the page. Do all NPC's that have secret PTJ's give them to all Dan 3 title holders, or only for the NPC listed in the table? KisaiTenshi 19:37, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Dan stats?
Does ranking Dan add to player CP/stats? I thought it did but someone told me Dan is only for the Master Title. So Rank1 Combat Mastery gives less stat bonuses than Dan1 Combat Mastery for example? --\(°∀°)/ 18:13, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
