"You shall be able to open this door only when you can calmly disengage yourself from a dangerous situation." Using Magic Music, maybe? Im not sure how else to add stuff here, so Im editing... I hope I do it right.--Yuuka 17:28, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

All I'm shure of is the blue door is pretty much impossible to open--Moox100 14:56, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Could "I think the door will open if I just shout on old incantation I heard as a child." Be "Eiry!"? ~ Aussie♣ 19:54, 20 August 2009

I tried that when I found a door like that ingame but it didn't work. It asked me that after I answered "open!" to the first question and let me through when I said "Open!" with a capital O. I'm not sure if I was supposed to say it in the first place or if it was the answer to the question though. Slayorg 00:22, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

i added some stuff about what u can find down there, but im not sure that thats all of it even tho i spent 2 rl hours wandering along the outer edge of it before realising thered be a map here... Sozen Cratos Focker 03:47, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Ant hell?

Is this place actually called Ant Hell or is this a name given to it by the users? Having been in a fandom where fan-given names run rampant it can be incredibly confusing for newcomers.

I recall there being a in-game notice about falling into Ant tunnels as I fell in, but I don't know where "hell" came from -- Ladywinter 02:58, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
It's a nickname to Ragnarok Online's Ant Hell map, and/or Maplestory's Ant Hell type of map.
If this is the case then shouldn't we rename the page to whatever it's officially called in-game? >_> --Mystickskye 12:11, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
I think the game calls it the Ant Tunnels, from what I remember when I etnered them. -Hakumei 20:45, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Official name is "Ant Hill", according to the Associate Producer of NA Mabinogi. And btw the RO ant hell is sooo~ much better. Actually has ants :3 Link to interview in which its called "Ant Hill". --Js16 11:13, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
I know this discussion is very old, but I propose moving this page to "Connous Underground". "Ant Hell" can be a redirect. --- Angevon (Talk) 17:00, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

Doors That somehow can't be open

I found a door which I thought could be open more easily than others... Oh right, it also randomizes so as im posting this it changed to reviving another player... --Dra6o0n

I Found a door that has the requirement "You shall be able to open this door when you can make a powerful ice spear" Magigoomba

Don't worry Magigoomba I added that to the list :3 I ended up with that door too (Its the last one) --The Catalyst :D 05:46, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

I found a door that told me flat out "You need a Spirit Weapon with a high amount of Will to pass through this door." - Antagon

Means of Entrance

The mainly-used way to get in Ant Hell is walking into the black cloud, but it is heard of that by using Cold Wind L-rod you can dig in the sand and sometimes fall into Ant Hell. This means of entrance is very unclear of where you dig to get in and if there's anything that tells you that you're about to fall in case you aren't trying to get in.

Does this mean that if you wanna get in you only need to keep digging on and on until it happens?--dra6o0n
Tried that...only works in certain locations. =\ -- Ladywinter 08:04, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Found one spot near the Sandworm Landmark where the White Tailed Mongooses are that let to the Tunnels, so not all of them are around the Longa Desert text. ─┤Hakumei├─ 00:45, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
Mod map I use: minimap_iria_connous_eng.jpgcreds to yydzh
The black circles are hole spawn points. (you have to download and zoom in to see them) BTW, I think it should be noticed and stressed that you do NOT find these holes by digging. Who knows how many cold wind rods I went through before ready this up on another site. :| --Js16 11:43, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
On that map, I got through the second closest hole to Filia by just using the normal L-rod exploration action. However, a little while back when I was digging for elves, I'd dug down 4 steps or so and the "I think I might fall in" message appeared. I didn't use the L-rod exploration action. (At the time, I didn't know what that meant and ended up falling in ant hell... what a painful time. Dyre 12:18, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Can someone add a list of what comes from these chests? I'm told that the Raven enchanted boots come from them but I don't know if that's true or what else can be found in them. If there's a list already then a link should probably be added on this page.--Jacobpaige 21:53, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

I would have to agree with Jacob, I was looking at the enchants and a weaving enchant can drop from them aparently but maybe it hasnt been implemented yet? Wolfen198 23:51, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
The list is on this page under "Cave Info." ---Angevon 16:30, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

New Doors?

I started studying a door, and I keep getting new requirements that aren't listed. Were new doors added during the g8 patch? --Tylian 17:30, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

New doors confirmed, I keep getting them too.--Melodious 23:27, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Also maybe i jsut missed something but does anyone know how when where or how often do you get keys to chests? cause i want a few things in there and i cant find a key, maybe i overlooked something?~Alice

I believe all the monsters drop the keys. They're rare enough that you may spend several hours killing monsters without finding one. Also, please sign your messages by typing in "~~~~" or clicking the signature button. --Link 03:21, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

The hole stays open?

I found a hole, today, but it disappeared about 3 seconds after I found it, before I could even move closer to get sucked in. I think this disproves what the page says about the hole staying open till someone else falls in.

Entrance to ant hell glitched?

MMkay, so I know that not many people intentionally try to enter ant hill, but it would seem from my attempts tonight that the entrances around the "Longa Desert" text on the map are glitched and you don't get sucked in.

Linxindao (talk)22:06, 29 January 2014

Define glitched. I see what you mean. I went over to the area you mentioned and it's due to the Oasis implementation.

Adding door theorys

If there are some doors with simply ? as the requirement, is it okay to add possibilities into their fields?

It also seems possible that some of these doors have requirements set for skills that did not actually exist at the time that Iria was released.

For instance, it appears that the door that asks for "When refilling your power becomes second hand-to you, you shall be able to open this door." could require respite, and the one about "You shall be able to open this door only when you can calmly disengage yourself from a dangerous situation." could refer to evasion.

Whitnney (talk)08:53, 12 March 2013

? means that the requirement is unknown, so yes, please, if you can, fill it out.

As for requirements that preceded existing skills, I'm quite sure they probably weren't there before they were released, rather they were added upon being released.

Those green dots on the minimap, how do you go into them?

EDIT: Nvm, they go one way. >.>
