Dungeoning

Does being in a dungeon effect the feed button appearing? So far, that is the only thing I don't know; whether you still get the feed button, even if it's been an hour when you're in a dungeon, or not. -Rusty 22:11, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Confirmation

After doing this whole event for 5 hours, I became extremely irritated that my prize is "Strawberries"... 5 hours to receive a stack of strawberries... Anyone else got this? Also, does the event overlap? Meaning if you had an owl and it pass through 0:00 server time, will it overlap, like the paladin timer, maybe making it possible to have 2 owls at once? --Miyuna 03:31, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

hi there, yes it is possible to get strawberries, it's happened to many others. but it's not possible to have 2 owls, if the server time rolls over to the next day and your owl isnt done eatting, you won't get one for that day at all. You'll have to finish the owl from the day before. Miyani 09:44, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Continent Warping

Does Continent Warping reset or effect the time of feeding the owl? Because I fed my owl once, then afterwards I had been Continent Warping because I was doing things. Oh, also after the first feeding I had to log out. I got back on for a few more hours and no other feedings had popped up. So my main question is if it effects the timer for feeding. -Iyasenu

Continent warping has no effect on the timer. Logouts reset the timer.--Demaetri (Talk) 08:15, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Confirmation on Rewards

Is this list accurate or was it taken from an unreliable source? Because I need to confirm if becky witch dress or the gamyu's bat dress has been obtained from this event. -Gaea 1:52am EST 11/19/09

I'm assuming reward list was added by the people who received the rewards, though I'm sure you'd have to ask each individual editor whether it wasn't hearsay or what. It will most likely become clear whether the rarer items actually do come from the event; within a couple days, they should begin to affect the economy. --Inemnitable 10:20, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

I don't personally think that this list is accurate or 100% reliable. some of the items, like the dustin sword, dragon shield, and karis shoes i think should not be considered legitamate, there's enough of the rares floating around that by now, with just 2 days left, if these items were in the event they'd have shown up by now. Agree. Dragon Shield and Dustin Sword have already been removed from the list, should we remove Karis Shoes too? I haven't been paying attention to them so I don't know if any are floating around, though I haven't seen/heard of anyone who got them. --Inemnitable 05:54, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

I've been paying very close attention to this event, and i have yet to see a pair of karis shoes appear anywhere that wasn't previously owned before this event was released. alot of the rewards on the list that are proving as fishy are based off the original event and it's rewards hosted in korea, or based off over seas rewards. For some i'd honestly suggest (if they're readded) that we require a screenshot to have it taken seriously. But yes, on the server i play there isn't a single new pair of karis shoes available, and i havn't heard of any serious cases off the other servers, other than the joke posts like "i got 4 karis suits, karis shoes, and dustin sword." which may be partially to blame for the inaccuracies of the list :P anywho. yes, i think we should start thinning the list some. i also havn't seen new coys appear. but they seem more likely to be in the event. Not getting food..

I waited for about 3 hours, after midnight passed, no message came up. I assume this means we need a new owl every day and it doesn't carry over. I've added "If you have an owl, and it passes midnight, even after an hour the feeding message won't appear. Best to get a new owl " Winterbreeze

My old owl could still be fed, even after midnight. Just finished feeding it and received a new one. Gonna remove that bit since that doesn't seem to be the case for all.--Berkt 11:34, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Well I still cant feed my owls... No message is popping up at all. There's no way I'll log a ticket to Nexon, because they pretty much say something useless such as "Plz redownload 4 another 6 hrs and take up all your bandwidth, kthx". >_< No message came before midnight or after midnight. --Ashe 12:39, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

The "no message showing up" is a lot more complicated to explain. Suffice it to say there are two primary reasons for it, and both shouldn't be discussed on the wiki. KisaiTenshi 20:17, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Yesterday I did the event completely om my first human, then my elf, but then i got no food for 3 straight hours on my 2n'd human, so mods are not the only thing that can cause that problem. the only difference(that i can think of) between the times i didn't have this problem and the time i did was that fact that my second human hasn't killed a thing or completed a quest since 3 rebirths ago, so it's lvl1 with 0% exp. i added a note about that to the page but if anyone does get owl food on a char with 0% exp, please remove that part.--Sozen Cratos Focker 04:21, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

I still get the owls 60 minutes after login or change channel, even on 0RB Level 1, 0% experience characters. The only factor that hasn't been ruled out is packet loss. KisaiTenshi 09:03, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Got another Owl?

I have a question regarding this line:

You will only get another Owl (no Nao scene) if you do not have an owl before midnight. If you still have an owl from the previous day, you will not receive another.

I finished up my human this morning when I woke up (obviously after midnight w/ an owl), then relogged all my chars to get my adv play items. Once I got back to my human for his adv play item, I also received an owl. (Ie, I finished his owl at 650am or so HST, and then it's now 710am as I write this...2 seconds after getting a new owl...) huh-wha?--Demaetri (Talk) 17:11, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

It's most likely baseless conjecture, or someone jumping to a conclusion. The italicized is absolutely false -- I had the same thing this morning. Finished up owl from yesterday, relogged, oh boy another owl. --Dprotp 23:47, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

As it's written, it's not true. I got an owl, finished it the next day, CCed and got another owl. Finished that owl, CCed, didn't get a third owl so I'm inclined to think that you can only receive one owl on a day though finishing doesn't matter as much. With one character I finished it after midnight, reloged, got another owl, finished it, didn't get another owl. On a different character, the initial owl feeding was before midnight, but the subsequent feeds were after midnight, and no new owl was given until that character re-logged in again much later. Alright, I figured it out. If you have an owl and log in AFTER midnight while having it, when you complete it and relog, you won't get a new owl. However, if you stay logged in before and after midnight and finish your owl and relog, you'll get a new owl. --Dprotp 06:31, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Concerning Gender Related items

There is no limit on it. Male characters will get Female items and vice versa. I know this because I got a Female Swimsuit on a Male character. --Kendoza November 19, 2009.

I know that I've gotten both male and female Esteban armor on female characters, for what it's worth. So, there's no "each gender only gets opposite-gender clothing" rule. --Duet 02:54, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

The item you get is totally random and isn't based on your gender or race. It just depends on how lucky you happen to be, and it appears you don't happen to be lucky (I'm not either, I got Wood-Rimmed Glasses but I don't use a human or elf D:) xP.--Δκυmσ - ταłκ 03:40, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

prises might be based on curent level

Day 1(of event:wasn't able to play. Day 2: lv40(total ~400) human male in Qilia got wood rimed glasses ~140k, lv2(total ~20) elf female in Dunbar clothing shop got flower swim trunks <5k. Day 3: lv40 human in Qilia got crown ice wand ~50k, lv2 elf in Dunbar clothing shop got a swimsuit <5k, lv1(total 19) human got an owl but did not get any food after 3 hours(did not log out, cc, or even move much. Day 4: lv40 human rebirthed and reached lv13 before finishing owl feeding in Tir of Another World, got fish swim trunks <5k, lv2 elf got swimsuit <5k. so far, my low level chars have gotten nothing but swimwear, so i added a note about the possibility that level affects your prise. if anyone got results that disprove that theory, please remove that note and write what you got here.--Sozen Cratos Focker 04:42, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

I got a Crown Ice Wand and Folding Glasses, both on the same level 29 human character(One on Friday and the other today, Saturday). Have not tried with my other characters, with are a low level. --Jαy 04:49, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

I got two ice roses and a stiff wooden glasses before rebirthing at level 47 or so, and a pirate captain suit after rebirthing, at level 5. However, I wonder if total level might have an effect, as swimsuits and non-enchanted glasses have been the fare for my mule characters (usually <50 total level), none of which my main character (~970 total level) has gained at all. This could just be a huge streak of dumb luck, I'll admit. (Though I wouldn't be able to remember the last time my luck was this good, if it is indeed unrelated to level) --Duet 07:10, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

I got an Ice Rose on my total level 60ish, current level 13 Giant while I've only received swimuits and one EXP Potion while on my total level 930, current level 40 Human. I'm really doubting the prizes are based off of levels. --Berkt 07:44, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

I disagree, I received swim trunks on all characters at least once except for my Giant on Mari and Human on Ruairi which were both level 1 characters. An elf on Tarlach is also level 1 and got the swimsuit. My characters (which are not level 1) on Alexina all got swim suits twice, one character got male swim suits twice, and she's female. Overall, on Alexina a different pattern was observed depending where the Receive Reward button was used. All the swimsuits were obtained on Uladah or Filia, but the more valuable stuff was in Zardine. Chances are it's just a coincidence just like level. KisaiTenshi 09:10, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Dustin Silver Knight Sword

I Remember one person saying they were selling one. Although it was "on their other character" so i don't know if she was just bluffing or not. Then again, this event is global, We could assume we get the same items as Korea which means we can get dustin, just a very low chance.Jokerman 25 November, 2009

It's also possible that items from a generation we haven't yet reached (ie. G8S3) simply aren't available. Gamyu set obviously being an exception, but they don't actually have a generation, since they're Design Contest. I don't really see any reason why Dustin Sword would be any rarer than Karis Wizard Suit or Becky Witch Dress. And I've seen quite a few of those around, but no Dustin Swords. There have been enough people spamming this event for long enough (packet editors lol) that I think we'd be well aware if the Dustin Sword was actually available from it. --Inemnitable 18:10, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
