is there a reason the doki doki island event is listed? it's used in the event but i'm not sure why it's listed here, i can't find it in any of the shops
edit: just realized bluefin tuna is only available on the island. is that the only reason it's listed?
Onion Fried Tuna is one of the 5 or so Doki Event Dishes. It can only be crafted during the event, but yes it's technically not 'rewarded' by the event in a normal fashion. In fact, it's a quest during the event to make it. Tuna is even more confusing in my opinion, because despite Rano Tuna existing 'Tuna' is also an event exclusive fish used in event exclusive foods.
What do you mean by valid recipe? I just tried using both salt and garlic as a 3rd ingredient and produced this dish.
The recipe hasn't changed at all (iirc it even shows three ingredients in its tooltip), and other than Rush of Love quests don't care about the food quality or how they were made.
Well you can only get the fish at doki doki and I have discovered that you only need those two ingredients. I don't appreciate people deleting my contributions. I wouldn't add something willy nilly if it wasn't true. :|
People find the ingredient listing CONFUSING. There are like 3 different possible recipes. Lets simplify it.
That doesn't invalidate the other method though. I've known about two ingredients as in the discussion below, but I've always used a third ingredient regardless. It's all preference.
Calling the two ingredient method the "only" valid method and "there is no 3rd ingredient" is false.
Also how is the ingredient listing confusing? There's a semicolon to separate the two methods. You could separate it using bullet listings, but I don't see how it's confusing at all.
I think the goal of the recipes should be "what gets you 5-star". Excluding the third ingredient may not provide sufficient error for food waste, but unless you can 4 or 5-star the two ingredient recipe it should remain as a side note that the dish can be produced without garlic or salt.
Edit: apparently the wiki has already had this discussion a few inches down 2 years ago might be best to do nothing owo
Mixing bluefin tuna, onion, and salt with a different recipe selected produces Food Waste, and Onion Fried Tuna is not in any dropdown list from Mixing to Steaming. Can this dish be made anymore post Culinary Artist?
My leftovers from pre-CA wasn't removed, I just dropped them on the ground.
If you can't make them then they probably were removed. This page should be archived.
I also seem to not be able to make this dish anymore, even with the garlic. Unless someone figures this out, this page should be deleted.
You can't make it because it was only limited to the Doki Doki Island Event. If anything it should be archived, not deleted.
Also please don't necro threads that are one year old.
The recipe is bluefin tuna about 67.5% and onion 32.5% by mixing if anyone wants to add that to the wiki. You can experiment with it yourself if you want to more accurately get the percents.
We already have the recipe though, and apparently it also requires salt .3. so yeah...
Edit: Looking at the mabinogi event page, there does seem to be third ingredient that they're not telling.
This is what I use~> http://i.imgbox.com/NMiuGNHl.jpg
(The filled part is Tuna, the rest is Onion)
