Description

Technique Fateweaver.png

Fateweaver Icon.png

The ability to either add buffs to your party members or debuff your enemies. The higher the level, the more buffs you can control at one time.

Details

The effect selection UI, along with how many effects are available (yellow orbs)
  • Applies Aspect of Might, Aspect of Fortification, Aspect of Swiftness, Aspect of Focus, or Aspect of Reversal on a targeted party member or monster within a certain distance.
    • The number of Aspects that can be selected at once depends on Fateweaver's level, up to all 5 at once.
  • Fateweaver's Aspects can be selected by using the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 keys. They each correspond with the Aspect that appears on the screen, in order.
    • For example, pressing 1 while using Fateweaver will select Aspect of Might, while pressing 4 will select Aspect of Focus.
  • Fateweaver lasts a total of 30 seconds.

Combos:

When certain Aspects are selected in a specific order and then used, Fateweaver applies combo effects. All combo effects generate the phrase "specially combined" in the message the player receives and alters the effects by 2%.

  • Combo 4-2 - Increases effects from Aspect of Fortification
  • Combo 3-5-1 - Increases effects from Aspect of Might, decreases effects from Aspect of Swiftness
  • Combo 5-2-3-1 - Increases effects from Aspect of Might, decreases effects from Aspect of Fortification and Aspect of Swiftness
  • Combo 3-1-5-2 - Increases effects from Aspect of Swiftness and Aspect of Fortification, decreases effects from Aspect of Might
  • Combo 2-4-1-5-3 - Increases all Aspect effects

Party Members
  • Increases the target's Minimum Damage, Maximum Damage, Magic Attack, and Critical by a percentage. Balance will be increased by a flat amount.
    • The amount increased depends on the current level of Fateweaver.
  • Aspect of Might does not stack with Exploit Weakness.
    • When the player uses Aspect of Might on themselves, the last Technique applied to that player will overwrite the other one.
      • For example, if the player uses Exploit Weakness first, then uses Fateweaver's Aspect of Might on themselves afterwards, the Exploit Weakness effect will disappear and be replaced by Aspect of Might.
    • If another player uses Aspect of Might on a party member under the effects of Exploit Weakness, then Aspect of Might will not be applied.
      • If the player using Fateweaver used additional Aspects to the player with Exploit Weakness, the other Fateweaver effects will still be applied.
  • Increases the target's Defense, Magic Defense, Protection, and Magic Protection by a flat amount. MP Recovery Speed and Stamina Recovery Speed will be decreased by a percentage.
    • The amount increased depends on the current level of Fateweaver.
  • Increases the target's Movement Speed, Ranged Aiming Speed, Magic Charge Speed, and Alchemy Charge Speed by a percentage. Attack Delay will also be decreased by a percentage.
    • The amount increased depends on the current level of Fateweaver.
  • Aspect of Swiftness does not stack with Relentless Assault.
    • When the player uses Aspect of Swiftness on themselves, the last Technique applied to that player will overwrite the other one.
      • For example, if the player uses Relentless Assault first, then uses Fateweaver's Aspect of Swiftness on themselves afterwards, the Exploit Weakness effect will disappear and be replaced by Aspect of Swiftness.
    • If another player uses Aspect of Swiftness on a party member under the effects of Relentless Assault, then Aspect of Might will not be applied.
      • If the player using Fateweaver used additional Aspects to the player with Relentless Assault, the other Fateweaver effects will still be applied.
  • Drops all aggro from all monsters targeting that player for 3 seconds.
    • This is similar to using Shadow Cloak or Hide.
    • After a player becomes affected by Aspect of Focus, they won't be able to get affected by Aspect of Focus again for another 30 seconds.
  • If the target has Tenacious Taunt active, then Aspect of Focus will have no effect on that target.
    • If there were other Fateweaver Aspects selected, the rest will still apply to that target.
  • Restores HP as a percentage of the damage dealt.
    • Aspect of Reversal has a maximum amount of healing that can be recovered per hit.
      • The maximum amount depends on the current level of Fateweaver.
Monster
  • Decreases the target's Defense, Magic Defense, Protection, and Magic Protection by a flat amount. MP Recovery Speed and Stamina Recovery Speed will be decreased by a percentage.
    • The amount decreased depends on the current level of Fateweaver.
  • Decreases the target's Movement Speed, Ranged Aiming Speed, Magic Charge Speed, and Alchemy Charge Speed by a percentage. Attack Delay will also be increased by a percentage.
    • The amount decreased depends on the current level of Fateweaver.
  • Drops all aggro from that monster for 3 seconds.
    • If the target was loading a skill, the skill will be cancelled, as the target will have dropped aggro.
    • Each monster can only be affected by Aspect of Focus up to 3 times.
  • Whenever the target is attacked, they will take additional damage as a percentage of the damage dealt.
    • Aspect of Reversal has a maximum amount of extra damage that can be dealt per hit.
      • The maximum amount depends on the current level of Fateweaver.

Notes

  1. As long as the workshop benches aren't manually removed from the Homestead House, the technique can still be used even if the lease expires.
  2. This refers to the "Homestead House" area of the homestead; not the main outdoors area.
