Elemental Attunement is a Technique that gives the player a chance to activate a special effect based on their weapon's Element.

Details

  • The player must use a weapon enchanted with an elemental in order for set effects to occur:
    • Ice: enemy movement speed reduction.
    • Lightning: reduces weapon knockdown gauge increase (allows more hits before knockdown).
    • Fire: applies a bleed effect that ticks 5 times over its duration.

  • The bleed damage is a proportion of the max damage while equipped with the weapon that applies the bleed. Temporary buffs to max damage, such as with Battlefield Overture, will increase the bleed damage if they are active. Switching weapons, buffing after the bleed has activated, or having a buff expire will not change the damage of an already-in-progress bleed.

Objectives
  • Reached Relentless Assault Level 3
  • Talk to Piran
  • Defeat enemies in Revived Illusion with a fire element weapon 0/50
  • Defeat enemies in Feth Fiada with a lightning element weapon 0/50
  • Take 1000+ damage while wearing ice element armor 0/30
    • The ice element only needs to be applied to the body slot.
      • Clothing will count for the quest.
    • You need to take at least 1000 HP damage from a single attack. Buffing up defenses and other methods of reducing/eliminating damage will cause it to not count.
    • Girgashiy (Raid) on normal and solo deals 50% of your HP with Mineral Hail, so if you have at least 2,000 HP it will count.
      • Hard and Very Hard deal 105% HP with their hail, so if you have around 1,000 HP those difficulties will work.
    • Golems on Scathach Beach can deal high damage with their Windmill and Smash attacks.
