Tips
- Note that for the receiving damage objective, each hit needs to be over 1000 damage, after damage absorption/reduction effects.
- Like with Elemental Attunement's quest, strong mobs are needed;
- Scathach Beach's Amethyst Golem's easily hit the threshold with their Windmill or Smash attacks. Multiple Golems can even be "juggled" due to their large delays in between attacks/skills.
- Tech Duinn Missions like Seven Nightmares, though the Sharp Mind Immunity, and high multi-aggro count and attack speed may be overwhelming, in addition to less-consistent damage.
- Girgashiy's Mineral Hail can deal 50% of the Player's HP in damage in Solo or Normal mode, and 105% in Hard or Very Hard, and is a rather easily-telegraphed attack, but is a slower overall method; you may only be able to get hit once per Awakening.
- While lower-health characters may achieve progress by going into Deadly with each hit, there is more risk to dying due to follow-up hits; a high health pool and low defenses are recommended.
- Techniques like Vital Surge or Defiance can increase your survivability, though Dampen Shock or Blunting Field will likely be disadvantageous, due to decreasing damage taken.
- As in most cases, Iron Will or Berserk can be extremely helpful in fulfilling requirements quickly, but are also high-risk due, to the likelihood of dying to follow-up hits.
- Regardless of total health, Full Recovery Potions (or their Event equivalents) can be extraordinarily helpful, at the risk of Potion Poisoning.
- Like with Elemental Attunement's quest, strong mobs are needed;
- While you can't recharge and re-activate the same Spirit Awakening very quickly, multiple Spirit Weapons of appropriate level will allow you to have multiple buffs available at a time.
- The default maximum number of Spirit Weapons you can have is 3, but this can be expanded up to 6 with Spirit Weapon Additional Contract Coupons, not including Eiry as a 4th, or expanded to 7 in total.

- Own journal Reach spirit level 10.
- Mana Shield Rank 6 or above.
- Enduring Melody Rank 1 or above.
