Website Description
Kerune was cautious of the Milletian who appeared in Mag Mell. Everyone was aware of the power the Milletian possessed, and their presence posed an imminent threat to Kerune, who commands the guardians of the forest. However, Kerune was relieved after watching the match between Fleur and the Milletian. The battle between them was orderly and peaceful, and Fleur seemed to have enjoyed it. The Milletian's ability to blend in with the Floral Fairies and help with hardships in the forest made Kerune trust the Milletian a bit. But there was also frustration mixed with Kerune's relief. A chance to go head-to-head with a powerful adversary seldom presents itself in peaceful Mag Mell. Kerune knew he wouldn't relax unless he also did battle with the Milletian. Such valuable combat experience would help him train other guardians under his command. Kerune challenged the Milletian to a friendly duel to show his confidence.[1]

- Kerune fits the archetype of Cernunnos, the horned guardian of the forest. However, another character forfeited that title, and there is nothing directly suggesting Kerune is his successor.
- In Korea, Kerune's translated name is Kerron.
- Kerron (also Kieran, Keiron, Keerun, Ciarán, or similar) is a combination of ciar (meaning dark, black, or wax) and a diminutive (meaning in full: small dark one).
