Talk:Arrow Revolver/Archive/00
Albey (Albei) is still a valid area to get the pages; at the very least, for page 3. Both mabinogi times and wikiwiki have data to support this. --Reverie 13:33, 10 February 2008 (PST)
ar, human specific?
some1 in the game told me that elves cant get arrow revolver, is that true?
- Yes. It is human-only. Elves can get Mirage Missile instead. --- Angevon 17:13, 14 June 2008 (PDT)
- Elves pretty much have an innate Arrow Revolver. Humans have high-aim speed, while elves have a fast skill load time. Humans get Arrow Revolver to fix their slow skill load time, while elves get Final Shot to hasten their Aim Speed.--Marthian 21:00, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Stamina Use
Tested, and rank F uses only 6 stamina, not 10. Knowing this, the other stamina-rank colums were replaced with a " ? ". --DeityOfSouls 12:36, 5 September 2008 (PST)
- My rank F Arrow Revolver doesn't use 'stamina per second,' only during load and firing. Nandattebayo 23:25, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
- Surprisingly, it does take stamina even when you're not using it. You just don't notice it because your stamina naturally heals faster than it drains, but if you turn on Meditation (to stop stamina recovery) while you have AR loaded, you'll notice that your stamina drains slowly. --κєνıи (»тαıĸ«) 01:20, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Order
Is the order from 1-A or from A-1? -Nasa0003
- Order of what? ---Angevon 01:51, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
err for the arrow revolver, what is the exact order? is it 1-10?--Nasa0003 17:35, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
- Do you mean the pages? pages 1 - 10 IN NUMERICAL ORDER. The skill? Practice to F to A to 9 to 1. The flying pies?our future overlords? o.o --Trickybomb 03:22, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Ah my question is answered...
- Ha?
Enchanting
~~asking for a friend~~ Does enchanting the pages into the book require magic powder? --Nasa0003 20:58, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- Enchanting into pages does NOT NEED to use a magic powder. Just use the page. --Sinnoaria 21:53, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- If you just want to put them into the book you don't need to use powder. However, if you want to use the pages to train the Enchant skill, then you need to use powder and use the page like an Enchant Scroll. In either case you have 100% success. --Naiya 21:58, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
What enchant should you use for each page? I found a page 6 and can't find any enchant that works. Page expires soon, so i need to find right enchant.--Deathslash37 17:09, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh. So that's how it works. Thanks!--Deathslash37 13:52, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
AR page 8
It says that AR page 8 is only obtainable from the Giant Red Spider, which is found in Alby Int for 4, however, isn't the alby basic boss also a Giant Red Spider? Or is AR page 8 only obtainable specifically from the Alby Int for 4 Giant Red Spider?
- Its only obtainable from the Giant Red Spider in the boss room of Alby 4. no other GRS will drop the page.--Jacobpaige 10:44, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Just curious, is there a way of seeing what the drop rate is for certain items and such?--Gintoki 16:49, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- At this time, there is no way to tell the drop rate of monsters. However, from the fact that AR 8 is only acquired by the specific Giant Red Spider, one can assume that it is a 'extremely rare' drop. -- Eiyuu 2:35, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
Arrow revolver page 8 has been confirmed as a drop from basic now. --Voichi 01:02, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- Got pics/a vid? I still don't believe it since I've been grinding that dang dungeon just for a 2 minute video to show it does drop... so far... No luck, but it's great defense training.--Trickybomb 23:14, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- If it is dropping in Basic, the price of the page will drop dramatically. However, the drop will allow players to obtain the skill more easily. Though, I too want to see some proof, just to make sure that it is possible. -- Eiyuu 19:16, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- The Giant Red Spider in Alby Basic is different from the Giant Red Spider in the Boss Room of Alby Intermediate for Four. Just like the Argus in Fiodh Intermediate for Two are different mobs than the Argus in Fiodh Intermediate for Four and Baol Final, The Giant Red Spider in the Alby Dungeons are different. Different CP means different mob, which would usually mean different item drops. Also, if the page was a drop in Alby Basic, the KR wiki and the Japanese Wiki would have information on this, considering that Mabinogi has been up for more than a few years for them. Also, the two Giant Red Spiders in the last few rooms of Alby Intermediate for Four are the same mob as the Boss in Alby Basic, and there has not been a single report that those Spiders have ever dropped a Page 8. --Zephyre 20:37, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
add
Put up a link to the AR enchant
- I'm pretty sure the difference between 'Arrow Revolver' skill and 'Revolver' Enchant is pretty obvious. --Kevin (»Talk«) 23:14, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
who started the rumor of ar being damage nerfed?
I see no evidence at all.--黄恒升 ☞ 评论 ☜ 05:36, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
Before the patch my critical on fifth shot is 520~550 damage. Now it's down to 490. I say that's enough prove damage decreased.--Parallel Pain 11:00, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Scratch that, it's down to 380~440Parallel Pain 02:10, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
at rank 1 it used 20 stamina now :/--Bluephobia 14:16, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- and how can you prove that critical is not nerfed? or defense is boosted? or dex formula changed? please eleminate all the variables and provide a statistically proven result. just looking at it is not enough, you should get an idea on how large human error influences statistics.--Hengsheng120(talk•contribs) 00:45, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- or you could just look in the data and see if it was nerfed. gonna check it now since nobody seems to have gotten on this. --Inemnitable 08:41, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- nevermind, they seem to have implemented whatever changes only in the server side code. stamina use still says 6 at rF, 10 at r1. gj nexon. --Inemnitable 09:01, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Actually the damage of AR was modified slightly but it's hardly noticeable. After each arrow, the damage gets stronger. With my AR, my damage (in order of arrows shot) was 56, 65, 71, 89, 120. So it increases per hit in the one charge, but this excludes any critical hits you land. --Ashe 16:37, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
Ranged Attack aiming speed
Does anybody know whether Ranged Attack's aiming speed bonus affects Arrow Revolver's shots? I can't find a notification of this anywhere, and it would be a really helpful bit of information to know. ~Zallist 17:24, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, it does. Unless you have the aim speed bonus from high ranked AR, it aims at the same speed as your ranged attack.
- So does this mean that the first shot at r1 Ranged and r1 AR would be 600% faster than normal aiming speed, or 200% faster with only AR's 50% reduction taken into account? And would every following shot be at 300% or 100%? I'm just trying to work this out exactly, since it determines whether you absolutely need Ranged Attack or not to use AR to its maximum efficiency. ~Zallist 12:39, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- From the way that I interpreted it, since they wrote "Makes the first shot aim extremely fast" I'm assuming the first shot in your situation would indeed have 600% aiming speed. The bonus seems to apply only to the first shot, though. Kong 05:38, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- It aims extremely fast on the first shot because of the 50% aim bonus at the beginning of the shot, it has nothing to do with any additional multiplier for aiming speed. It's still the same aiming speed as r1 Ranged Attack, the time to get to 99% is just cut in half because you start at 50%. Beepuke 07:23, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

is it possible to start the quest...
quit it, and start it again once u complete the book and start the other quests, do the same, except for FH? i don't remember--Dtdsora- no page as of yet- u can make it urself 00:11, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Yes; I confirmed it just 3 days ago. I quit the quest a while back (to start fireball page collection as well), started it again (via the same method) before enchanting AR page 10 into the book, and was able to talk to Aranwen when I had all the pages, complete it, and successfully get the skill. Not sure if you need to have the quest again before you put the last page in, because the book sort of automatically completes itself in a way.--XxxTarlachxxx 22:37, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
Campfire?
Does AR work with campfire? imKrazy 07:27, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- If you're asking if it receives the damage bonus that a campfire gives to ranged attacks, then yes, it does. Beepuke 07:24, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
Video
whoever in the video is lagging badly. the ar skill is not supposed to fade at all in between shots--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 08:09, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Though I do think the video demonstrates AR's speed and power. If it's not good, I can find a new video, though it may be tomorrow since I have a lot of "do edits" to do later. --Miyuna 08:33, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- For PVE it is good, in PVP people will (non-modded) shoot much faster even with a slow bow, and especially the ones who try to use Wing Bow. The awe i got at first from AR is from PVP.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 08:46, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- I think the video is good for now. It's hard to find a good demonstration video that doesn't last too long, that isn't modded, or is filled with ridiculous stuff. However, my first impression of AR was in a Dungeon. It was waay back then in G3... where I witness someone take down 5 goblins with 5 arrows with amazing speed. It may seem easy now, but back then, I was amazed at how efficient AR was. --Miyuna 08:50, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Intros?
Since when did we start placing intros onto skill pages? If we're going to keep this, please add intros to all the other skills to keep correspondence. --κєνıи (»тαıĸ«) 08:33, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- I was thinking the same, however I do find the intro to be a nice addition. --Miyuna 08:39, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- I made the intros (as one my objectives on the wiki lol). It takes a good writer to do it and not all the skills will sound good with an intro. --Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 08:42, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- I like the intros and wish you good luck on your objective, however I am still trying to figure out how things such as "throw javelins" can sound interesting. --Miyuna 08:47, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
Removal of the 2x2 Quest Scroll?
Can someone verify this for me, because I was on my sister's account checking what skills needed to be updated, and apparently, she has the Arrow Revolver quest in her Quest Window, but the 2x2 quest scroll is no longer there. She said she didn't "quit" the quest, but instead, only got the book, as opposed to getting the 2x2 scroll AND the book. I think this also goes the same for Ice Spear and Fireball, where there is no 2x2 quest... oO;;; Just need some verification... --Lt. Jessie 18:57, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Well i can certainly confirm that there's no 2x2 scroll for fireball anymore. You just get the quest, that's it.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 19:08, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Just started the Ice Spear quest this morning on my elf, I can confirm there's no 2x2 scroll for Ice Spear. --Duet 19:56, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- So I take it's safe to assume that the same goes for Arrow Revolver? If so, I'll make the change. --Lt. Jessie 20:12, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Does this mean we can take on more than one skill quest at the same time now? --- Angevon (Talk) 21:59, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Just tested it with my sis' character having an active AR quest and requesting Stewart for the Thunder quest. Unfortunately, Stewart will turn you down and say that you must either complete the last quest or give it up. So I guess the rule for the advanced skills (Both AR and the Adv Spells) still exists. --Lt. Jessie 22:12, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

AR Page 3
I'm assuming that when it says flying swords drop it, it means ALL flying swords drop it. Wouldn't this include Rundall dungeon then? I'm actually looking for it now and wondering if that would be a possibility :o —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tigrr (talk • contribs) . Skill loading time confirmation
A recent edit (July 9, 2010) changed the load time at r1 from (1 second) to (0.8 seconds). Can anyone confirm that the load time is actually 0.8 seconds? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaeporo (talk • contribs) . Please always sign your comments with the button or by typing ~~~~!
