How rare are these things? I've only gotten one after attacking only for the daily for two days.

I got one in my first and only bear spawn.

Out of the 11 times I have done it, I only have 5 Pages. so its basically a hit and miss kind of thing. Its not super low rate but I guess this would work about the same as if someone killed it and dropped the item, I would say, everyone is basically fighting for it and thats why the drop rate is low...I got most of the pieces during times when there was less people.

but in a math kind of terms, you might only get 1 every 3 or so spawns. if your lucky, you might get it at every 2 spawns.

With that rarity how do they expect us to get 70 pages in three weeks?

Judging from the sparse data we have in this thread, it would take about 150 or so spawns to get enough scraps. That's 150 game days or 90 hours, or 3 and 3/4 days straight. If you spread out your play time across the entire three weeks (I'm assuming 21 days), you need 7-8 spawns/game days per real life day, which is about 4-5 hours per real life day. It's doable, but you're going to be pretty much doing nothing else. I wonder if anyone is dedicated enough to finish.

Eeesh....thats a lot of time. I know theres things to do in between waiting time but its pretty much what Blargel said.

I usually get around 3 pages a spawn. Hasn't been a spawn yet where I didn't get at least one.

I've been only to about 8-9 spawns and I'm still on my first god darn scrap.

Next question would probably be how you guys are attacking the bears. Sounds like Meru is hitting them a crap ton.

I just gun. Don't even use way of the gun. My guns are upgraded for range two times. I like hitting the sapphire bear. Some people say they get more by attacking bears that aren't getting hit.

I have only gotten 1 copy of Old Diary Scrap 1 throughout the whole 7 days it's been going on. I am also spamming them with guns so...

I'm on the same boat as you. Though, I haven't actually done the event that much. I think I only did 12 spawns.

Still only one page obtained.

Used FH and guns. No success.

It's just pure with the rate this is going and I have near to none for this event.

In the end all you get is some plot, a trade unlock potion, a G19 weapon crafting material. Oh, and a cake from one of the worst NPC chefs in history.

Yes, but to many people those items would come in handy. For me, I have an armor I have been waiting to unlock/sell and I do plan on crafting some G19 weapons. Overall with the rates for some people, it seems almost impossible to even get these prizes in time.

Yea, basically just spamming with dual guns is really the only way to go. I can for sure say that Lonely Bears is where you get the dough...samples.

It's sorta rare. I just use elf range and dowras and usually get at least 4 fragments per spawn. You could also use a pet to draw a bear's aggro, then unsummon it to give you a 3 second (at least) window to spam whatever you can without having to worry about the teleporting BS.
