Talk:Transformations
Well, I've finished the initial purpose of the page. Anyone who wants to add anything is welcome: but remember this was created to give a description of the differences in transformations, to help players decide which path to turn, and to compare them for any reason.Novaix 23:18, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'd like to modify this page a bit. For the sake of comparison, I think it'd be helpful if things like max damage actually reflected the total max damage. Ie, a paladin with all r1 skills actually gets a consistent boost of 134 to max damage for both melee and range (pallies get a 250 str/dex boost at r1, not 200) compared to a DK's possible 64/80/144 for range and melee. Things like injury rate and crit will be affected too by the various will boosts and such.--Mystickskye 00:57, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- Whatever you want to do is fine, I simple wanted to introduce a comparison between them.Novaix 02:12, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- I don't mean to meddle, but wouldn't that make it more confusing? Especially since most people don't even bother ranking the other skills until later on. Once again, i don't wanna meddle too much yet. I like it as it is.--Goldenchikle 00:32, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'd prefer to keep all options in, so people will know to STOP JUST RANKING THE MAIN SKILL. And all information was taken from the wiki, so correct the paladin/dark knight/falcon/savage beast pages if something's wrong here. In addition to fixing this page of course.Novaix 01:23, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Haha, sorry if I worded that badly. I was reffering to Mystic's comment. I meant that since most people don't they'd get confused by the numbers. if they see "134" as the max damage boost for pallies they might think that's JUST from Sword of order, and get confused by the fact that its different than on the pally skill pages (i know i would). I guess you could mention it somewhere or something that its the max boost from both dex and raw damage boosts, but I prefer seeing them separate. once again sorry if I'm meddling since I doubt I'll make any major edits to this page.--Goldenchikle 13:49, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- No, I realised it was referring to Mystic. I was saying to keep all options in, such as

- strength or dexterity bonus
- pure damage bonus
- total damage bonus
- That way people wouldn't get confused. And meddling is fine, because we're all here to make the wiki a better place. I just sometimes get a bit annoyed when everyone tells you just to rank the main skill.Novaix 00:02, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I think that would fit better. and actually i don't like just ranking the main skill either, I only brought it up cause MOST people do (I have a friend who doesn't at all its funny), But thanks for making this page, cause now i don't have to explain the differences to my friends~. --Goldenchikle 14:19, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I made this to explain the differences between DK and pally, so people wouldn't have to spend so much time choosing. Remember, if you can't choose stay pally, because then you can go DK later!Novaix 00:15, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
There isnt much differences to think about, Paladin is clearly the better winner, anyone disagreeing with that can debate with me on that. DK is an insult to be called a "power up" and why i refer to DKs as "handicapped" people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supraboy (talk • contribs) . - Please don't make insulting comments. Both transformations have their merits. --- Angevon (Talk) 14:25, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Cleanup
I redrafted a large chunk of the text, description and definition on this page.
- DK's lose alot more HP than 10/s - removed.
- Int Dmg bonus discussion belongs on the Stats page (and was poorly written anyways) - removed.
- The last section on Awakening of Light was informal, not to the point and it was not clear why it was worthy of being mentioned on this page - restructured.
- Tips (when to transform etc.) do not belong in the header/definition section - moved.
- Header completly redrafted.
- Merged discussion of skills and types of transformatins in the definition section and created a Usage category (where things like tips belong).
The charts are good and have remained untouched. Suggestion: DK's stats should be compared on their averages. People are easily misslead by focusing on maximums. --Skynet 04:21, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Small mistake on this page
Paladin's Injury rate 10, 34 is incorrect and Dark Knight only has 2 percentages of it's injury rate numbers as well. Can someone edit it? I'm afraid i might ruin the chart. --Bryanneo 13:53, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
- Edited, thanks for catching that. --Miyuna 14:43, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
And 1 small note.. a Paladin does have a hidden critical bonus and wound rates from the Will you get from Power of Order, 10 will = 1 critcal and very 10 Will adds +2.0% to maximum wound rate and +0.5% to minimum wound rate. --Bryanneo 15:09, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
- However, we're just going by what rank gives, not by what stats the rank affects. On the flipside, I could say that the +250 dex gotten from Eye of Order will give xx mount of injury, however that's just a side bonus from having more dexterity, and not really what the rank gives. Though if you do catch any more mistakes, let us know. --Miyuna 15:17, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Hehe no problem but since this was a Comparsion page, I thought we would list everything a transformation has to offer, people can be mislead easily because they don't really look into the stats. --Bryanneo 15:24, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
passive def
someone should make a comparison of the various passive defenses, or at least dark knight against the others, since it seems different from the pally version, less melee def but more magic and ranged def. -- ladywinter ~{talk | contribs}~ 22:32, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Discrepancy Between Trans Duration | 1 | 20:55, 12 September 2013 |

The rebirth bonus information on the Transformation page states that "...the first 10 rebirths adds 8 seconds to the length of the transformation, and then every rebirth after that adds 2 seconds." However, the information on the Dark Knight and Paladin pages state that every rebirth adds 7 seconds. Am I missing something or is one of the formulas incorrect?
Is there a cap for how much extra time you can get from having more rebirths? like if i have 1000 rebirths would that give me 1980 extra seconds or is there a limit to how much extra time you can get?
Six Minutes max. Dark Knights is also 6 mins + [HP/10] seconds
Where is the word transformation used ingame? (Names on the website will be considered irrelevant.) The point of this is to counterattack any possible confusion with G17S3's Transformation Talent (which has nothing to do with DK/Paladin/Beasts).
He means "doesnt count" i think.
Besides, like you said "Talent". I don't see why you would even get that confused with Transformation.
Some people are under the impression the Transformation Talent is for training Beast/Paladin/DK skills. > .> Same with Transformation Mastery.
What is the Transformation Talent anyway? I don't see it on Mabidata.
Should we add profile and side views of transformations?
They're SORT OF like outfits in a way.
The problem is, All 4 of the major transformations have 4 different forms each, depending on your skill rank. So, we would need 8 pictures for each transformations, or 32 totaled. There are Profile and Side views of each form of Tranny and both genders (I THINK) on the transformation page, so if someone wants to see them, they can go to the page.--Magiobiwan 05:37, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
