Description
Homesteads are pieces of land that the player owns and develops. Currently, two types of homesteads exist: the Regular homestead, and Moonlight Island.
Accessing
- To enter either the homestead or moonlight island, click the homestead icon from the Menu Bar. Click on either button to enter the desired homestead.
- Permissions for who may enter the homesteads is based on the Homestead Menu's authorization settings.
- The homestead owner does not have to be online for anyone to enter their homestead.
- It is possible to enter the homestead of a character on the same account provided they are in the same guild.
- To enter another player's homestead, right click them and select Enter (Homestead Type). This can also be done through the friends list.
- If the player in question has not created an island or a homestead, you will not be able to enter it.
- Entering a homestead while aboard a Ship can cause a player to miss their arrival or departure when at port or at sea.
- The player will have to wait for the next scheduled arrival or departure or teleport out of the Ship by means of Fast Travel.
- Entering a homestead does not count as leaving a channel, so you will not lose place in a queue or part-time job by entering.
- The hidden weather effects will stay present until all characters leave the homestead.
- The hidden weather effects reset every five minutes real time, but will not take place unless you exit and reenter.
- Unlike other locations, homestead weather can differ between channels. However once a homestead is entered, it is time locked to a particular channel.
Leaving
- Any items dropped on the ground will disappear upon all players leaving the homestead.
- If you log off from your homestead, you will log back in to your location before entering the homestead.
- If you change channels immediately after exiting your homestead, homestead access is locked to the previous channel you left for one minute.
- When entering a homestead, hidden Weather effects may be present. These provide a bonus to production skill success rate and may cause homestead herb patches to yield more herbs.
Homestead Menu
From the homestead menu there are three tabs: Home, Moonlight Island, and Homestead.
- Home is the main hub from which you can enter your homestead or moonlight island and see their respective levels. It will also show you the amount of visitors you've had in each.
- Today's Count displays the total number of visitors to your Homestead for that day. It resets at 7:00am PDT100.
- Total Count displays the total number of visitors who have visited your Homestead. It does not reset.
- The Weekly Island Spotlight will showcase a random player's Moonlight Island depending on set variables.
- Todays's Islander will showcase a random player's islander. You can enter their Moonlight island from that window, or click on Islander Information in order to see what they are wearing.
Tabs
- The Moonlight Island tab will show you:
- The amount of Homestead Stones you own;

- If a task is completed, but access to the Homestead House has been revoked, you will only get an empty notification.
Both tabs will also hold the list of your favorite homesteads/moonlight islands.
Permissions
There are two types of permissions: Entry and Item.
- Entry permissions will filter out who can enter your homestead or moonlight island.
- Item permissions will allow you to set who can use the gathering nodes and other appliances you have set up.
These options are visible through the 'options' button in the homestead/island's information window. Changes made from that window will affect all of the island/homestead's permissions.
- You can also change item permissions individually, by entering edit mode, right-clicking on the item, then selecting 'view information'.
- These permissions may be changed, at anytime, at the player's discretion.
- It is possible to select both Owner's Friends and Guild Members at the same time, the other options are mutually exclusive.
- You do not need be present on your Homestead for another person to use your tools if they have the necessary permission.

- To add a homestead to favorites, simply visit the desired homestead and click the Add Favorites button in the upper right hand corner.
- The type of house you have does not affect the number of homestead friends you can have, but affects the amount of people you can add to your visitor list.
Construction Mode
The player can click on the hammer icon to build various objects with their homestead stones.
- Some objects may also require additional materials, usually production skill items.
- Some objects can only be purchased with Pons or obtained through Events and Gachapon.
Building
- When you begin building the object you desire, it will take a certain amount of time to be completed. The time spans from a few minutes to several hours or days.
- Objects will continue to build/grow while you are offline, or otherwise away from your homestead.
- Successfully building/growing an object in a homestead will reward you with Kons. These represent the homestead's experience and value, and are needed to level up the homestead. As your homestead levels up, more objects are unlocked to be built.
- Items built in Moonlight Island will not reward Kon.
Item Effects
- Some objects have special effects. For example, some will generate kons daily, others will boost the amount of times nodes can be gathered from.
- Effects that boost collection amount will only be active if the affected object is directly adjacent to the effect-providing item.
- Some effects affect the entire Homestead region, such as Light Wagons or Kon-generating ornaments.
- You may only place a certain number of any one ornament before new identical ornaments stop adding to the effect.
- The Construction List will show the effect in gray instead of blue if new ornaments would not produce the effect. The max allowed of an ornament before the effect stops varies.

- You cannot edit your homestead while using a skill.
- Props that use a ladder, such as the Homestead Eweca or Homestead Treehouse will require their ladder to be destroyed first before being able to be retrieved.
Multi-Select
When under edit mode, players can click on the 'multi-select' mode to choose more than 1 prop at the time. Each prop has to be individually clicked.
- Like the regular edit mode, right-clicking on the selected item set will bring up the multi-select tool.
- Permission settings can all be set for the chosen props.
- Clicking the 'move' button will allow the selected props to be moved as a group.
- You can rotate the grouped props with PageUp and PageDown as if you were moving a single prop.
- From the build menu, clicking the third button will retrieve all of the currently selected props into your inventory.
Maintenance
- Certain items require Homestead Stones and Homestead Stone Fragments to maintain. The maintenance costs will automatically be deducted from your current amount of Homestead Stones once every week.
- If you do not have enough Homestead Stones when maintenance is due, a fee of 10 Pons can be paid in its place.
- If the player cannot pay the fee, the homestead items that have maintenance costs will become unusable and unremovable until the next successful payment.
- When the next payment is due, the player must pay both the current and all previously unpaid maintenance cost.
