Fast Travel

Description

Fast Travel is a term for any method of travel that allow the user to teleport or otherwise instantaneously appear somewhere else.

Details

Stationary Objects

• A Moon Gate is a teleporter that lets players teleport to other Moon Gates anywhere at anytime, provided they have first memorized the location by using the Moon Gate once. They exist on the continents of Uladh and Belvast Island.
• A Mana Tunnel is a teleporter that lets players teleport to other Mana Tunnels anywhere at anytime, provided they have first memorized the location by using the Mana Tunnel once. They exist on the continent of Iria.
• The Poulnabrone is a teleporter that lets whole Parties teleport to any Dungeon Lobby.
• A Guild Stone can be linked to a Guild Hall, providing a teleport between its location and Tara's Rath Royal Castle.

Menus

• All characters under Cumulative Level 1000 have free use of the Traveler's Guide Menu, which is a menu that gives easy access to all Moon Gates and Mana Tunnels.
  • New players, and even new characters on a veteran's account, should make use of this to fill in all of the Moon Gate and Mana Tunnel locations.
  • The cost of teleportation through the Traveler's Guide can be massively reduced by first teleporting with a free service, such as the Dungeon Guide Menu or Homesteads (see below).
• All characters have free use of the Dungeon Guide Menu, which is a menu that gives easy access to select Dungeons and Missions across the continents of Uladh.
  • The ability to teleport to some locations is locked behind the ability to run the select Dungeon or Mission.
  • All Dungeon lobbies and both Stonehenges can be directly teleported to except for the lobby of Fiodh.
  • All Moon Gates can be quickly accessed using the Feth Fiada teleport; if not unlocked the Alby Dungeon and the Math Dungeon teleports are close seconds.
• A Family enables either Spouse to teleport any family member to their location once per real-life day.
• The Squad is a unique variant of a Party that enables a player to teleport to Emain Macha's Alban Knight Emblem, giving them an effective teleport to Emain and the continent of Uladh.
• The Alban Knights Baltane Special Unit enables a player to teleport to Avalon Gate at any time, giving them an effective teleport to Belvast Island.
• From the Talent Window, the player may warp to the Arcana Association Room in Rath Royal Castle after having completed the Arcana questline.

Skills and Actions

• The Continent Warp (found in the Action window) can be used to teleport to the continents of Uladh, Iria, and Belvast Island.
  • Warping to Uladh will place the player in Dunbarton.
    • If the player has never visited Dunbarton, the player will be warped to Bangor if it has been visited or Tir Chonaill otherwise.
  • Warping to Belvast Island will place the player in the Commonwealth of Belvast.
  • Warping to Iria will place the player in their Race's village.
    • If the player is a Human, they will teleport to Qilla Base Camp.
    • If the player is a Giant, they will teleport to Vales.
    • If the player is an Elf, they will teleport to Filia.
  • You may not warp into the same continent.
    • You may use Homesteads to get around this; see below.
• The Pet Teleport Skill allows a Pet to teleport itself and its owner to a location registered with the Save Location Skill.
  • This Skill is unique to the Warp Imp, Warp Imp (Event), Recall Imp, Band Warp Imp, Paparazzi Mage Imp, and Fez (Pet).
  • Pet Teleport is very useful for remembering hard-to-reach places such as any location in Another World, Scary Library, Solea's Star Landmark, the Fishing Boat, or nearby various NPCS that give Part-Time Jobs.

Homesteads

• A Homestead is a location that a player may teleport to that is located in Uladh or Iria's Physis or Connous.
  • For the purposes of the cost of the Traveler's Guide Menu and Continent Warp's inability to teleport to the same continent, the player is actually located wherever the Homestead is purported to be.
  • Players can also teleport to the Homesteads of their Friends and Guildmates (Friends List) as well as any Homesteads the have saved to their Homestead Map.
  • Players can issue Homestead Invitations to invite other players to their Homestead.
    • Homestead Invitations can even be used by other characters on the Homestead owner's account, allowing each character to enter any of their other characters' Homesteads and save them to their individual Homestead Maps for later.

Goddess Wings

• A Wings of a Goddess is a teleport item that allows a party to teleport to the last Town, Iria Landmark, or Zardine Mana Tunnel they visited.
  • A Red Wing of the Goddess is a variant that teleports you to a predetermined location.
    • Most locations are Dungeons.
  • A Blue Wings of Goddess is a variant that teleports you to a predetermined location.
    • Most locations are Towns.
  • A Yellow Event Wings or a Orange Wings of a Goddess are Event variants that can teleport you to a selection of predetermined locations.
  • A Golden Fairy Wings (Mag Mell) is a variant that teleports you to Mag Mell.
  • A Dungeon Waxen Wings of a Goddess is a variant that teleports a player to a Dungeon of their choice that they have previously visited at least once.
  • A Waxen Wings of a Goddess is a variant that teleports a player to a Town of their choice that they have previously visited at least once.

Friend Summon Capsule

• A Friend Summon Capsule allows a player to input another player's name and teleport that player to them, with a number of restrictions.

Zardine and Hot Spring

• A Hot Spring Ticket will teleport a party to Zardine's Hot Spring on the Iria Continent.
  • They are usually sold by the Healers of each town for 5,000 Gold each; Annick of Port Cobh and Yvona of the Bard Camp also sell these tickets.
  • A Monkey's Invitation will do the same but they are a Glutton Monkey Liked Food reward.
  • They are One-Time Use each.

Belvast and Scuabtuinne

• The Current Compass is an item rewarded during Generation 23 that allows the player to teleport to Scuabtuinne from anywhere.
  • If the player uses the Current Compass in Scuabtuinne, instead of teleporting to their last location they will teleport to Belvast Island.
    • This effectively allows the player to teleport to Belvast Island from anywhere.

Sliab Mis

• The Winter Forest Mobile is an item rewarded at the end of the second part of the Dark Dreams of a Winter Wind questline and allows the player to teleport to Sliab Mis from anywhere.

Recall Books

• Recall Books are reward items that can save and teleport players to chosen locations.
  • The Recall Book earned from the Memory Book Questline gradually unlocks more save locations and has no limitation as to where the locations can be.
  • Recall Books earned from being part of a Guardian Guild allow players to save four locations in the region of the Town their Guild is Guardian of (Tir Chonaill or Dunbarton).

Marketplace Channel and Districts

• The Placard, the Shopmaster's Key, and any Moon Stone Piece has the ability to teleport a player to various locations in the Marketplace Channel.
  • A Return Ticket allows for a player to teleport back to where they were before doing so.

Black and White Dragon Raids

• The Town Messenger is an NPC that will teleport players from Tir Chonaill, Dunbarton, Tara, Filia, or Vales to any active Black Dragon Raids or White Dragon Raids on the Channel.
  • The Town Messenger will only appear to a player if the requirements for him to spawn in a specific town are met.
  • The Black Dragon Summon Scroll and White Dragon Summon Scroll can be used to both spawn in and teleport to a Summoned Dragon Raid.

Death and Rebirth

• Death in Mabinogi allows for certain teleportation options.
  • Players can choose to revive at the last Town, Iria Landmark, or Zardine Mana Tunnel they visited.
  • Players who have an active Camp Kit Camp can also revive and teleport there.
• Rebirth in Mabinogi allows for certain teleportation options.
  • Players can choose to be reborn at the Forest of Souls in Tir Chonaill or a locations in Iria determined by Race.
    • If the player is a Human, they will teleport to Qilla Base Camp's original tutorial zone.
    • If the player is a Giant, they will teleport to Vales's original tutorial zone.
    • If the player is an Elf, they will teleport to Filia's original tutorial zone.
