Ok, what is the time it is frozen? This is crucial information needed. Like after a monsster is tackled, how long is it frozen. -- Ember Incubus 06:02, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Using charge for other purposes

I've seen other people run with the speed of charge while it's loaded, but without any enemy target around. How do we do that?--Syzodia 10:04, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Either the user was lagging a lot and is Charging towards a dead monster, or the user was Modding.--钟国豪-BIassreiter 10:44, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
and are you sure they're not charging towards a barrier? -- ladywinter ~{talk | contribs}~ 13:44, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
It's most likely mods then...i really hoped it was possible w/o mods but it isnt, thanks.--Syzodia 23:29, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Maybe we should change/remove the "ETA" tag?

It's known that Assault (Charge) is coming in the next patch, so maybe we should change the tag to say "It is known that Charge will be coming in G7"?

Since the patch is tomorrow, we're just going to remove the tag. --Kevin Talk«) 17:51, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
One of the reasons the futurecontent template should be changed to what i suggested.--恒升  评论  18:24, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Damage

Is the damage dealt from Charge barehand damage? --Dias 22:42, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Yesh --Akumo 17:22, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Strangely though, when charging the banshee with a ghost sword and a shield, you don't just hit 1's. Also, I've noticed that in Dunbarton when I charge someone with no weapon equipped I hit 1's, yet charging the same person with my mace equipped I do ~20. --Fracture
The damage from Charge is based off of barehand damage but if you have a weapon in your active slot when you use the skill, the +damage from the enchants on the weapon will also apply to Charge's damage. This seems a bit confusing at first since you don't see the +damage from enchants on a weapon when you check your barehand damage. --Jun 02:20, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Stamina Use

My giant has rank B charge right now, but it costs 7 stamina, not 5. Does the cost differ between races? --Yotothe5 4:40, 05 August 2009 (UTC)

The stamina cost for giants is 2 stamina points higher than the cost of human/elves of the same rank. (Ex: Human cost=5 / Giant cost=7).I'll add in this info on the summary.--BIassreiter 04:47, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Correction

Charge deals barehanded damage and thus does not give weapon proficiency

It doesn't give weapon proficiency, however it does give shield proficiency in the same way that you would gain it through using Defense over and over. Just posting it here before I make a change on the wiki --Jaydarxus 20:31, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
It also does not remove any durability from the weapon. --Fracture

Uncap?

Does anyone know when this skill will be uncapped? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kiripsan (talkcontribs) . Please always sign your comments with the Signature.png button or by typing ~~~~!

Stone Throw Vs. Charge

In a recent pvp fight, I used charge on my human towards another human character. The opponent used the rock throw action on me and it halted my charge. Unfortunately, he did it at the last possible second when I was well within range. Neither of us knew that rock throw would work. I'm going to add this to the list of things that halt charge. If you find out otherwise, revert the change. --Haven923 15:11, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

That doesn't sound too far-fetched, since Throw rock is classified as "magic" attack and magic can stop charge. --Miyuna 15:12, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Smash > Charge

Can another player's Smash intercept the Charge skill? ~ Darkblade132

Smash loses to Charge. Charge is basically a normal attack and normal attacks beat Smash. Smash can only defeat Charge if the Charger is attacking someone else and a Smasher comes by and Smashes the Charger, basically the one being Charged at gets saved by a Smasher.--BIassreiter 02:55, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
This has happened to me once. I'll draw it out for you.

Basically, me (o) was charging at a Karu zombie (x) when the other zombie (y), whom I was charging through, smashed me, resulting in my final position (z). --ZephyreTALK 03:32, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
If you're asking if you are targeted by charge, can you stop it with smash, that's a no. --Link 03:38, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
In PvP, you could smash (assumingly, you can normal attack them during this time) the charging target if they get stuck in front of you, while in charge status. Meaning they can't move/use a new skill. It's random in my book tho, since they could just stop and normal attack you like a failed charge.--Tricky B Bomb (Talk) 05:43, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
If you utilize your surroundings right, you could make them get stuck. Typically, you jsut have to run around a pole or boulder to get them stuck. Takes practice. Was extremely useful in the CTF event :D --Haven923 06:50, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
I was referring to a lag-like stuck, where it's between the dash and hitting you. Charge a target and some one ice spears it before you hit it, could lock you up until you either A) hit it, or B) the "distance" was too far. But it is fun to get people dashing into rocks. :D--Tricky B Bomb (Talk) 09:06, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
I'm asking if Smash can intercept it. Like the chart given by Zeph. ~ Darkblade132

And now I wonder what happens if you both Charge each other... :D ~ Darkblade

Only one person hits. IIRC, its usually the person that used the skill last. --Link 23:24, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Oh.. Wait what does IIRC mean? O_O ~ Darkblade

Charging something with WM loaded and ready to attack

Charge actually wins in this situation, unless there is something else nearby with WM, they can hit you as soon as you hit the enemy with Charge. Could someone add this information or change any sentences regarding this on the page? --Bryanneo 18:23, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

I've WMed people attacking me with charge before.--Sozen Cratos Focker 11:34, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Really? Everytime i charge a Windmiller, I hit them without taking any damage. Perhaps it's lag based?--Bryanneo 01:38, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

It's not [much of] a lag thing, it's [mostly] a skill, timing, and/or common sense thing. Charge does not negate windmill like some people are implying here; it only negates stun/knockback from range skills, and has no effect on melee, and contrary to what some people here seem to thing, WM =/= Counter; windmill only works when you execute it, unlike defense and counter which are activated automatically when you're hit. If someone tries to WM a charger who's out of range, nothing will happen, and of course once they are hit, they won't be able to execute WM. I suppose if the WMer has extremely high ping and/or jitter, and are not auto milling, they might time it wrong. If they are auto milling, then you'd only hit them if their machine is working so slowly that auto mill only executes mill once every like quarter of a second, giving you enough time to run from the edge of their WM range to them between WM attempts. I have never been hit with charge while auto milling, and hit with charge once when I messed up timing manually.--Sozen Cratos Focker 09:25, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Just remembered but charging a monster (non human) with Windmill is safe, makes fighting golems alot easier. --Bryanneo 14:32, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

That's because monsters don't automill, and they execute WM a certain amount of time after their target enters their range(Though it's usually used instantly if you're within range when it finishes loading), the amount of delay depends on the AI and sometimes server lag, but yea, I don't know of any monster that uses WM soon enough to hit someone using Charge, though the AIs do get changed slightly every once in a while.--Sozen Cratos Focker 04:46, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
You can't windmill a player using charge except in the event that you stand next to them due to lag. Windmill cannot be used to counter a charge in terms of pure mechanics. Tellos 16:04, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Charge not possible after Smash?

I went on the page looking for the ranges on charge, when I noticed it said you could load charge while executing smash? I just used smash and tried to charge but it wouldn't load, can anyone verify?--Neouu84 22:24, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

I can load it perfectly fine while/after executing Smash. --Aramet (Talk) 00:34, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
