Talk:Tailored Items List

From Mabinogi World Wiki

Would anyone mind if I make this template-based like the Blacksmithing List? I find the table as it is very clunky to add new things to. However, I know many users aren't comfortable with templates. ---Angevon 18:30, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Converted. Any problems with it or any of the recipes, blame me. ---Angevon 02:13, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Tough Thread

Just an FYI, I cannot tell when the JP wiki means "Tough Thread" or "Tough String." So any items I've put in with these ingredients could be wrong. ---Angevon 03:57, 7 August 2009 (UTC

% completion per success

I was making the rD mongo's long skirt and the page says that the completion per success is 99.9%. I got a success on my first try with rF tailoring but onyl got 70% completion. On another skirt, i got 64% completion. How come? ~kotarou3 (talk) 06:51, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

Messages that come up when you finish an item

These messages are supposed to come out ingame (replace the {0} with the item name):

  • Best Quality
    • After painstaking effort, {0} is created with an excellent quality.
  • Better Quality
    • A higher quality {0} has been made.
      • I got this on a hairband but it didnt add any dura
  • Reasonable Quality
    • Looks like it is more durable than the merchandise sold at a shop.
  • Normal Quality
    • Quality is on a par with the merchandise sold at a shop.
  • Worse Quality
    • Not a good quality, but a bit of repair work may help here.
  • Worst Quality
    • {0} is completed, but it really looks like poor quality.
  • Waste Quality
    • I know I made this, but this {0} is really a sloppy job.
It could be sold to someone else, only at a giveaway price.
  • You failed in finishing the item
    • The finishing touch wasn't very good, but it's completed anyway.
      • I dont know how to get this message (i found this in the game package files) since i cant even get it when i dont do anything at all when finishing my tailoring (ie. no clicks whatsoever)

Someone should add this to the "Item Grades" section. Or no? ~kotarou3 (talk) 07:08, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Sandra's Sniper Boots Male and Female Patterns

I found the manuals on the floor, and I don't see them on the list. I don't even know where they came from either since they were on the floor. I am guessing they could be gacha, but I can't be sure. Anyone know that these exist? Greensypurps 17:02, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

---

I also found Sandra's Sniper Suit (M) on someone's house board. I figured they were from the gachapon (since the same guy was selling other gachapon-only patterns). Anyone confirm it is from gachapon? Blitzfx 05:18, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Tailored Item Data Templates

Why does "Method" have rank after it if there is already a rank parameter. This could potentially mess up future templates. ): --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 23:30, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Where did the information for Un-implemented Items Come from?

Really just wondering, since It seems odd that Nexon would implement patterns for Starlight and Admiral's Set. --Eyeoftiger 01:44, 9 October 2010 (UTC)User:Eyeoftiger 21:13, 8 October 2010 (CST)

I was shopping in channel 1 in Alexina last night and picked up a tailoring pattern. I was excited that it was not a store-obtainable one. Looking at this list, it is 'Un-implemented'...Was there maybe an update that implemented some of these and the wiki isn't updated or did I just risk my account? D= Lizardorb (talk) 05:57, 29 March 2013 (PDT)
It's probably just not updated. What pattern was it? --Angevon (Talk) 12:29, 29 March 2013 (PDT)
The pattern is Trudy Shoes (rank 7). I was worried with all the hacking talk and warnings not to buy things from other players. Maybe it is now a gachapon pattern? Lizardorb (talk) 09:19, 10 April 2013 (PDT)

Quality/table updates.

With +quality enchants (such as the dan one), dan 3 skill, and reforges somebody made a 100 quality light armor on Ruairi. Since that's most certainly x-grade, I removed the line about x-grade only being available from gachas/events. As far as other bonuses, I'm not quite sure how much contributed to what for the 100 quality item, but I felt some of the descriptions on the page needed updating to account for these things.

In addition I recolored the headers for S, S+, and X to yellow. Traditionally red is used on the wiki to indicate "not implemented" but since it's actually possible in NA red was giving the wrong idea to some readers so it's yellow for "obtainable but you need bonuses".

And last of all, I put the quality numbers on the table for Tailoring just like I did for Blacksmithing... at least, the ones I could figure out from the stat changes. With the addition of the dan enchants for life skills (and things like Daunting dropping from more sources), the question of what "+2 product quality" means (for example) should be answerable by somebody looking at the table.

Tailoring Talent Gives +1 Durability to Finished Robes.

Since it already says that it gives +1 Defense to clothing, should it be noted that the Tailoring talent also gives +1 durability when tailoring a robe?

Merchant talent provides bonus protection to light armor and def to clothes?

Can someone verify this for me? Seems like smithing talent only gives bonus prot to light armor, and tailoring talent only gives bonus def to clothes. "Merchant destiny" info may be outdated.

Exmint (talk)11:55, 13 May 2013

This is old, but I was currently playing with this and i have made a 3/3 clothing item as a blacksmith, which should be impossible unless the BS talent bonus applied to clothing as well. The talent bonus message did not appear for the clothing, but it did appear when I crafted light armor earlier.

EDIT: actually this might just be a near perfect roll with reforged tools

Dan success rates

Is this really needed? It's just copying from the table above it. Just got dan 1 tailoring, and it affects non r1 scrolls, too. Just like the above table says it would. Rank 2 scroll gives 87% success on not monday with r1 production mastery. 2 ranks below dan 1. Matches up.

Meru (talk)19:16, 25 July 2014

I think we can just remove it and leave a note that Dan 1, 2 and 3 are 1, 2, and 3 ranks above rank 1 when calculating success rates.

I separated the 3 different section lists (implemented, store-obtainable, and unimplemented) into tabs. Anyone against it?
